It works
I needed a working phone.. the last unden phones (Identical) died after a couple of years and our original old telstra phone was all crackly, so I bought new ones, of the same brand, because they worked well while they worked.

Poor quality
A week after buying this phone one handset started to crackle and lose the conversation, a month later a second handset is consistently trying to connect when it is being used. A family member bought this same phone a month after me and they too are experiencing the same problems

Will this phone plug into a wifi router, or is it the more analogue (wall jack) type of phone
Hi, this phone is a traditional cordless landline phone, not a VoIP/Wi‑Fi phone. It connects to a telephone line socket (wall jack) or the phone port on an ONT/modem supplied by your broadband provider. It does not plug directly into a Wi‑Fi router via Wi‑Fi or Ethernet like an internet/VoIP desk phone.

How does one record an outgoing message?
Thanks for your question Phrerd. Open the menu with the phone in standby. Select Answering Setup, and then press record, to record your message. Your message or greeting can be 2-30 seconds long and if no message is recorded, the system will use a pre-recorded greeting. Trust this helps! ^CO

What batteries does it take is it AAA or AA .
