Rated 5 out of 5 by from heaps of features I just bought this phone today for my 85 year old parents who both have hearing aids but dont wear them when they should. The volume control levels and clarity are excellent and on boost or loud speaker even better as they can hear the caller even with out their hearing aid. More features than what they will use mostly because they would not comprehend the manual and set up.I have programmed it for them with basics they would need for their functionality.I think most elderly would have trouble working out manual and understanding many of the features.So far excellent phone and value for money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybe I purchased this phone about 7 weeks ago in Perth W.A.. Generally I find it to be a very good phone. I have only two complaints about it. 1. I have set & reset the time on many occasions only to find that as soon as someone phones in the time resets itself back to Queensland time. (Fine if you live in Queensland). -2. The other issue is a minor one. I have had cheaper phones with a much better "Phone Book" system. The process of loading different numbers to each person is cumbersome & slow. - The company needs to look at the programming for these two. Aside from that it's a great phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panasonic Cordless Phone With Answering Machine I bought this phone recently as my old Panasonic phone stopped working after quite a number of years (about 20). My old cordless Panasonic phone was great and I never thought I would get something better. Well this phone is brilliant. I have two hearing aids and life in relation to hearing on the phone can be difficult but, not with this phone. I can hear clearly, it is so good. I would recommend it to anyone, even those with the hardest of hearing.

She has two hearing aids but had problems hearing on her old cordless phone which was especially for 'hard of hearing people.' She use to get frustrated talking on the old phone as she could not hear people and kept asking them to repeat themselves. No problem hearing with this Panasonic phone. She loves the speakerphone & answerphone features on the phone. The phone flashes to let her know when its ringing. This happened the other day when she did not have her hearing aids in. She answered the phone when she saw it flashed and she could hear thru the speaker phone because the volume was up loud. I would definately recommend this phone to every household, not just hard of hearing people.

Why am I telling you this because in the last 5 Years we have looked for all types of Hands free phones that are loud enough to hear if you are in another part of the house or a little Deaf. The beautiful thing is you control how loud you want it and you can also control the volume of the caller! Great hands free, great conference , headphone Jack etc. No I am not getting paid for this comment. I was upset after receiving professional advice on which one to buy about 6 months ago from a hearing agency and as soon as I took it home and Charged it the phone was a disaster. I could not believe it after spending more money than this phone. This is the best home phone whether you're hearing impaired or not. We a very happy with it. Being a Disabled Veteran on a Pension I can't afford to make mistakes. I hope this helps someone. Take Care

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Panasonic cordless phone & answering machine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy set up my son installed for us. Good hand receiver with sound that provides easy listening. Size is quite large but this model caters more the older person for sight & sound which makes contact for the outside world much accessible, but nonetheless I personally don't see any problems for others to use. Also weight seems very comfortable & quality durable & not flimsy indicating long lifespan of product which is very reassuring specially when environmentally this now is so importantly a concern to reduce landfill in our world. Happy with purchase have & would recommend this product.

Does this work with a wireless and fibre plans?

Thanks for your question Isabella. This is not compatible with wireless broadband or fibre plans, and is suited for copper lines or DSL/ADSL only. You will need to talk with your Internet Service Provider for recommended models compatible with your current plan. Trust this helps! ^CO
