Internet On TV Viewer
This is an amazingly easy to use device giving the user Internet access via Wi-Fi to any TV with an HDMI input. It then runs Android apps that can be loaded from the App Store.
Disney+, Netflix, Spark Sport, Sky Sport Now, FreeView, Youtube, etc.
Not all apps are available.
I have an old Panasonic TV and it works perfectly. The device uses it's own Remote Control which is relatively simple to navigate and is attached to the device via Bluetooth.
The instructions step you through setting up the device quite well.
You will need access to an Internet connection via Wi-Fi and accounts on the Apps you wish to use and if you already have an Android phone it asks if you want to use the same setup as your phone, very simple.

~Freeview NZ is now an app to watch all NZ local TV stations in HD/4K
~Google Play Store apps like Netflix, Disney+, Sky etc are all available to download.

~It is a 4K dongle it does require its own power source unless the TV has a 1v/5Amp USB power outlet.
~There have been some reported issues with overheating but I have not encountered any so far.
~imported TV's will not work with any NZ Apps like Freeview but will be provided with that country's local TV station apps. Could try changing Regional Settings of the TV if you can.

Not a bad device
Pros makes it easy to install Freeview livestream no old school satellite dish or anything required and other apps
Beats the need for having to press the cast button and having to open an app on a device to cast to tv which can be annoying can install pretty much anything like Netflix Disney plus sky sport now good wifi but Not the greatest tho Vodafone tv was worse
Cons not much but
Other than sky sport now picture being a little jerky it doesn’t freeze at least at the best of times like chrome cast does being able to install apps on such a small device is quite impressive

For the initial configuration, you'll need to link to a Wi-Fi or a mobile data network, and if a regular Wi-Fi network isn't accessible, you can use a hotspot from a smartphone or another device. I already have one of these devices xbox gaming all good but freeview channels with my 55inch veon 4k ultra hd displays very shabby picture quality is it the freeview dongle or my veon set

DishTV have a few tips on their website, and Freeview also troubleshoot this in their FAQs. My smartvu sv11 will not connect to our new 2degrees 4g wifi router. Others have this problem?
Thanks for your question Alastair. This is not a problem that has been reported to us. The unit is designed to operate on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies on devices using 802.11ac logic. You would want to check your modem can utilise 802.11ac and check with your provider if not. Hope this helps! ^CO

Can you set up Neon and Apple TV on this unit? I have an older Samsung smart tv, but only seem to be able to download the apps for Netflix, tvnz+, currently. Thought this might be a good solution.
Great question Jnine! Yes, NEON is available on the SV11. It’s auto-installed on all new products (or when you factory reset), so you’ll find it on your Apps screen by pressing the ‘APPS’ remote button.
