It does the job.
Note: I had to disable the “Protection Engine” and reboot the router to make it work properly. (I almost returned the router before this final configuration test.)

Very Nice Upgrade
Upgraded from NETGEAR - Nighthawk AC2600 WiFi Router (that I have used for years and have been very satisfied) to the NETGEAR - Nighthawk BE6500 WiFi 7 Router. Setup using the phone was a little clunky, but once I could log into the router and complete some advanced setup using a browser everything went smooth. The app is VERY NICE, and to be able to connect anytime from anywhere was super cool. So far the router has provided expected results and was a great upgrade solution. If anything, it has revealed that my ISP is not providing consistency with speed, because it is more noticeable now. I have used Netgear for decades - always great products! Well done - satisfied customer.

Super easy and strong signal strength
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous router started to cut out and in - making it hard to use the internet. Replaced it with a new cable (Netgear Nighthawk CM3000) modem and router (Netgear Nighthawk BE6500 Dual-band WiFi 7 Router (RS200) . We had no idea how slow our previous set-up was - not we are running over 2x as fast downlink! We even set up a guest Network (not only for our guests, yet for all of our IoT devices). The whole process took less than 30 minutes to perform. We highly recommend using Netgear Products!

Solid Router
Bought this to replace my Tp link wifi 6 router wanting a more US based system. Installation was straightforward, led by the Netgear app. I used my existing router name and password and all previous devices all picked it up seamlessly. The coverage is good, we have a 3000 sqft home and the signal is good even in the garage. With the Nighthawk app I can monitor what is on the wifi network and make adjustments if needed. I even find my car in the garage connecting which I did not see before with the wifi 6 tplink router. Overall I am satisfied.

Not that good, range is much too short.
Not Better than Spectrums router. I've had ring cameras for years. Nighthawk doesn't seem to have as much range as Spectrums and the other routers I have used. A camera forty to fifty feet away won't connect any longer.

Great Router
My older model seemed to be getting a little sluggish. I was waffling between the Wi-Fi 6 or the 7. The 7 was the right choice. All my older equipment connected fine. My wife immediately noticed much better resolution on her bedroom TV. Everything is more crisp. Better reception throughout the house. And noticeably better speeds. Highly recommend.

Good price and features
I bought this to replace my tplink gaming router due to the impending ban. It's hard to find a home router with the tools and configuration options to satisfy a router nerd/concerned parent, with the capabilities that modern amenities demand on a budget. This router delivers far more than I expected with a 2.5gbps WAN port as well as a 2.5gbps LAN port. The security features are something you never knew you wanted and the numerous configuration options are a playground for those who like to tweak their network.
A great buy!

The Wi-Fi Router you need.
I'm a big fan of mesh wi-fi but I don't live in a home large or complex enough to merit the expense. This router has impressed me with it's performance. I stream all my hi-def video both from the internet and from my extensive digital collection over wireless internet without seeming to compromise any other activity I have going. There are more expensive versions, but if you don't know why you specifically need them, buy this one.

Great upgrade.
We purchased this router to replace our 5 year old router that reached its "end of life". It was still working fine but the new one was very easy to install and works better. We also replaced our modem at the same time so I'm not sure who should get credit for the much improved speed.

We received our new Netgear Nighthawk last week. It was easy to install and it has been so reliable. This is all new to us and we are enjoying the speed and ease and has been working even through a storm with no interruptions! We are glad we purchased this router.

Not really impressed with this router! Not sure if I got a defective unit or this thing sucks but nothing but issues since I’ve set it up… and my speeds are much slower than they were with my spectrum equipment. Wish I could return it for a refund

Perfect!
Needed a router to support 300mbs throughout a 2 story home. 5 bed rooms and this works perfect. 3 of the rooms pick up 450mbs and the 2 furthest rooms still come in a respective 275mbps. This does exactly what I needed it to do. The mesh systems cut my speeds in half instead of helping, they made it worse. This one router is a savior for my internet speeds throughout the home. I should also mention that the app for this router is amazing to say the least. It even allows you to test the speed for each area of your home as often as you like. There is never a guess as to what speeds you are getting with the app.
Bottom line - I absolutely love this router!

I love my Nighthawk router
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my previous Nighthawk router but when I upgraded my internet services to 1 gig It was time to upgrade my router. I never even looked at any other routers because my old router was great. Plus I wanted the readyshare ability. Also I wanted to be able to set my own QOS settings. I am hoping they will add that back with a firmware upgrade soon.

Hardware good; App abysmal
Although the hardware seems to work fine, the app that it wants you to use to set up the router is beyond poor. I’ve worked with several other companies where there is significant functionality in the application and you’ll only have to do very fine-tuning through a web interface with the device itself from the computer. Netgear on the other hand has the worst software I’ve ever seen for setting up a router. If the software represents the hardware, then this is something I would steer clear of immediately. I trust that Netgear has good equipment but it the set up through the app and maintenance of the router is non-intuitive, cumbersome, rudimentary, and frankly is miles behind many of their competitors.

Faster Internet speeds
After lightning affected my old router, a Netgear technician directed me to the Nighthawk RS200 router. It arrived quickly and has improved my internet speed on my devices. The instructions for set up could have been more straightforward though. Without internet in my home, the set up instructions required a scan of a QR code to access online instructions. Most have internet access through their phones, but if not, printed instructions would be helpful to have included in the packaging.

New Style Netgear Routers!
The new series of Netgear routers combine a bunch of new and strong features that boost router signal strength to meet many household needs at great price points based on your budget and square feet requirements! I also appreciate the new design styles that don’t have the protruding antennas of the past. I am pleased with our purchase and have already noticed the faster response online and faster streaming and MS Teams video and audio conference calls. Highly recommend these model routers

Easy setup, good download speeds, inferior range
The router was easy to set up, but lacks the range of my previous Netgear R7900P Pro. I had to purchase a range extender to get a sufficiently strong Wi-Fi signal to an electronic door lock located about half a house away from the router. As soon as I installed the new RS200 router, the lock started going through a set of batteries every few days (they previously lasted 2-3 months) and showed a one-bar signal strength. With the range extender, signal strength is four bars. Otherwise, it works fine, and my download speed improved about 80% over the previous router.

Exceeds Expectations
I recently moved from a wireless internet option since I am in a remote area with no broadband or cable. My Internet Provider installed Fiber in my area, giving me access to 1 Gigabit internet. The router I had could not accommodate the faster speeds, and the router provided by the ISP also had problems. When I installed and configured the NETGEAR Nighthawk BE6500 Wi-Fi 7 Router (RS200), it took advantage of the higher speeds and was easy to configure.

Rousing Router !!!
Replaced an older Motorola MS7700 that only had a 3.0 software version. Had just upgraded to Xfinity 1g service. Bot the RS200 to match the Netgear CM 3000. Original set up was a breeze. Had an issue late when using the Nighthawk app on my iPad. Had it working on the iPhone but apparently I entered my password incorrectly on the iPad and the entire system locked up and access was not allowed. Called Netgear tech support and the rep walked me through a reset as that apparently is the only way to disengage access lock out. Has been working ever since but have not attempted to use the app on the iPad. The router is working fine and I am getting close to 1g download and around 20g upload. Would definitely recommend this unit!!!!

Excellent WiFi connectivity with the RS200
Netgear RS200 is an excellent choice for WiFi , no longer having connection problems and steaming 3 tvs in house with no issues. I even discovered that I no longer need the extender that I needed to reach other parts of home.

Fast, configurable, reliable and affordable
The RS200 is a very capable router that can be configured to serve just about any home network from simple to complex. WiFi speed and coverage is amazing. I get full provider speed (500 Gbs) throughout my 3000 sq ft house from the basement to the 2nd floor. I no longer need my old access points. But even wired connections are faster than the router offered by my service provider. Pages load faster. The readyshare feature works extremely well for sharing data across the network. Another thing I appreciate is the fast response time of the embedded web server in the router. It makes configuring much more pleasant than my old service provider router. Finally, one thing my wife appreciates is the attractive design. I would definitely buy again.
