Rated 5 out of 5 by from Head scratcher to start with I set this system up as my router straight from the chorus modem and nothing worked...Called the ISP helpline and they couldnt help so I was left scratching my head on how to get this working...Turns out it was setup in a mode that made it a satellite system to my existing router and once I ran an ethernet cable from my existing router to this mesh system it worked like a charm...Weird I know but Im not complaing my Wifi speed has tripled in the house and the feed is rock solid for a Quest 3 headset I havent had a single dropout since this system fired up...No regrets buying it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissappointing and Not worth the money Spent over 8 hours updating firmware, resetting, and attempting to sync sattelites. All Failed. For the money spent, these should be brilliant with absolute precision. I think Netgear had the same interface and less functions than the FVS318 from 2002 had. The key difference the FVS from 2002 was rock solid, this Orbi was flakey as. Sync'd sattelites if moved or restarted would get out of sync and then not sync again, requiring reset and then wouldn't sync again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Orbi AX6000 Purchased the Orbi AX6000 to service my five bedroom home (and three teenagers). I have the Orbi configured in AP Mode - plugged into my ISP's modem/router as i'm currently using VDSL. My observations so far are less dropouts, improved wireless coverage indoors and out. Expensive but probably worth it for improved wireless coverage - particularly whilst in lockdown and when there's five people hammering the network at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 pack Orbi ax6000 Very good units, bought to replace a pair that are 10yrs ols and still work, just needed the 3 for a bigger house. Covers my 720sq mtr block and no black spots or issues with 5 bedroom brick home. Obviously bought more Orbi's because my previous one are so reliable. Worth every doller for good internet. They can have like 100 devices linked to them as well. Great units for a large family and simple, simple, very simple to setup!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the Best We have a very big old property to cover with lots of thick walls over 2 levels. The Orbi does it easily. The Orbi is virtually plug and play and we were up and running in minutes. The app is really useful and the network security works well. Importantly, it's compatible with encripted VPN, which if you are working from home is important. Surprisingly not all mesh networks work with encripted VPNs. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great Netgear product Upgraded from the previous Orbi system. My current apartment has full brick walls and concrete ceilings lined with Gyprock. The new Orbi system has no problem providing great bandwidth to all rooms as well as 3 outdoor balconies. At night we have 2 Smart TVs, a laptop, 2 tablets and 2 phones connected. The Orbi provides us with greater than 94Mbps download and over 77 Mbps upload to all. Love this new Netgear product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a difference What a difference By David D 12345 I purchased my Orbi AX6000 to strengthen and widen my current wifi, boy was I surprised right from the time I turned it on.Wifi is now through out my house and very fast stream .Easy to set up.Could not recommend this product enough. I am thrilled with the result and the improvement in my wifi system. Can't wait to add more smart items to the household.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome mesh system Great mesh system. For context my home is a 1960's build with fibro walls and tin roof and very much a closed plan living space of about 180sqm. Wire mesh security screen double doors for french doors front and rear. I originally used a second modem/router in bridge mode (wifi 6) with the modem/router in the middle if the house and spare modem/router near the front door and got good speeds inside the home but dropped to almost non existent once outside. With the Orbi I am getting the same fast wifi speeds but once outside it remains blistering quick and extends quite a way from the house. In reality I only needed the one satellite to cover my needs. The setup was extremely easy and intuitive. The setup app could do with a signal strength indication to help best position the satellites. I originally had the satellites connected via powerlines Ethernet but have since reverted to wifi using the dedicated backhaul as its much quicker. Very happy
