Rated 5 out of 5 by from Netgear AX1600 Mesh Extender This product has brought the other half of my house into the age of the internet. I live in a hundred plus year old house with an addition. The brick walls separating the new from the old have previously proved impenetrable to my standard wifi signal. After following the easy set up instructions for the AX1600 and installing the Nighthawk App on my iPhone, I was off and running. No more buffering on my smart TV and I swear the music through my wifi speakers is sharper and clearer. I would certainly recommend this product for anyone is having connectivity or streaming problems in certain areas of their house. Five out of Five!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Installation and Great Performance I used the Nighthawk App to connect the Netgear Mesh 6 Extender to my Wi-Fi network. Installation was quick and easy – just followed the Nighthawk prompts. After installing the Extender I moved it around until I found a place where I had both a strong signal to the Extender from my Verizon FIOS G3100 Mesh 6 Router and the fastest connection speed from my Amazon Firestick 4K Max to the extender. I am very pleased with the installation – can now stream movies and live TV with absolutely no buffering. This is a great product and I strongly recommend to anyone looking to expand their Wi-Fi network and improve the connections speeds of their wireless devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised it would actually work [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got a problem where my router is all in another side of the house and get a lot of lag and glitches since I game a lot and I’ll be honest I tried WiFi extenders but the mesh extender was something I really needed it’s as if I never had problems with my connection it’s solid I was skeptical at first but after asking questions and researching a bit without breaking the bank this was one of the best purchases I’ve made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NETGEAR AX1600 - Excellent Choice We replaced our 35-year-old pool/spa control system with one that connects to Wi-Fi. Our router range did not reach the new equipment. The NETGEAR AX1600 Is a perfect solution. I (thought I) had some issues with installation, so I called support. They were very patient and walked me through the installation process. It turns out that I had successfully completed the installation with the Night Hawk installation software before I called support! I am such a novice I didn't realize it was working. Next, they had me unplug it to reboot, making sure all of the parameters were set correctly. AWESOME PRODUCT!-AWESOME SUPPORT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NETGEAR AX1600 WiFi 6 Mesh Extender I’ve been using the NETGEAR AX1600 WiFi 6 Mesh Extender (EAX12) in my home for a week now and it’s made a noticeable difference in coverage. Before, my Wi-Fi was weak in the bedrooms and backyard, but now the signal is strong and stable everywhere I use my devices. Setup was pretty easy using the app, and it connected quickly to my existing router without any issues. Once it was up and running, I saw faster speeds on my phone and laptop in the rooms that used to lag. Gaming and streaming feel smoother too, without the constant buffering I used to get. Overall I’d say this extender really helped fill in dead spots in my Wi-Fi, and the WiFi 6 support seems to make performance better for all my devices at once.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constant resets, no improvements [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device was easy to set up with the app, although there’s a mismatch with the app wizard and Netgear’s guide. I just followed app directions. The device gets very hot, there’s no WiFi improvement, and the extender frequently cannot be found in the app, requiring time-consuming processes more involved than initial set up to get it findable again. The app can sometimes find the extender from one device but not another. This plug-in extender gets hot, lights up, has an app, but seems clunky and has not proven useful.
