Setup was quick and easy, and the connection has been stable and fast ever since. It covers my whole home with strong Wi-Fi, and I haven't experienced any dropouts or issues. For the price, this router delivers way more than I expected. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Great modem ,I set this up for my mum, she is with slingshot and she was using their old modem which wouldn't even do over 100mbs download, this modem sorted the issue and she now has 300mbs download speed , to the people that are saying they couldn't set it up or it didn't work , that is because every service provider has specific settings you need to input during the setup process, its not plug and play if you don't do this correctly no replacement modem will work.

does this work on One NZ HFC broadband, what settings are required and where do I find the settings

Thanks for your question. This is not something we can advise. One NZ's do not offer a 'bring your own modem' option for HFC, unlike their Fibre, VDSL, or ADSL plans. They provide a specific modem for HFC which is installed by their technicians and works for their network. ^CO

Does this need to be connected to a providers router e.g. spark. Via an Ethernet cable and if so what's the maximum length cable that can be used to still get max speed fibre through our the house

Thanks for your question Adam. Yes, this model router does require an ethernet cable to receive and then broadcast a WiFi signal. Signal quality can degrade over long distances, usually 90m+, however factors such as network traffic, peak hours, and device demands, can impact as well. ^CO
