Uniden monitor
I purchased this monitor after I found my husband in his room having a seizure. He was admitted to hospital where they found that he has suffered multiple minor strokes. I was terrified that something would happen during the night once he came home. He is well aware and approves of the monitor. It sits on my nightstand where I can check to make sure he’s okay. It has a love clear picture and was so easy to set up.

Hi . Does this have auto dim if so can it be turned off
Thanks for your question. This model features Screen Timeout (Power Saving Mode) but does not have a dynamic ambient light auto-dimming feature. Turning off Screen Timeout (Continuous Viewing): 1) Press the Menu button on the parent unit. 2) Navigate to System >VOX (Voice Operated Exchange). 3) Disable VOX/Power Saving mode to prevent the screen from automatically going to sleep or dimming when no motion or sound is detected. What is the range you can take monitor away from camera?
