Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun battery powered party light. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PartyLight Stick is a fun add on to the party box. It goes well with the party box to make more use of the lights because you can have an area totally lit up by the box and sticks. With the PartyLight Stick being run on battery it is easy to use anywhere because you don’t need a power cord if you are just using it for a few hours. I think two sticks works much better than just one for the ascetics. Connecting with the PartyBoost is pretty easy and smooth once I did the updates and use the app. While it’s fun, it is limited to working with PartyBoost speakers only. Unless you just have them running on their own at random in the background.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light-stick [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this in my living room where the tunes are.this light stick is about 4feet high and inch wide.powered by internal battery and charged by usb-c plug.really made for party box stage where it will sync with its light show.but also has internal mic that will pick up on any sounds.these pictures won't do it justice.its light show is cool!this is best used at house parties or night deck.be great for camping too.has 8hr battery life.gonna put it in my window for halloween.the app gives you control over colors and speed.its cool!

At first it feels pretty cool but once you've played with it for half an hour you realise it is a bit of a gimmick product. I didn't think it was as bright as it could be and to really have a disco feel you need a lot more lights. It does add a bit of atmosphere to a room so potentially if you got a few it would really help. I feel it could have more options/flexibility with the scenes and I felt often it wasn't really in with the music like I thought it would be. I will say it was extremely easy to set up and get going and as it can be moved anywhere it would be really versatile.

The light show provided by these sticks is impressive and adds a vibrant touch to any event! They emit rich colors that flow in sync with the PartyBox music in a chic fashion. This creates an immersive audio vibrant visual experience. Key features include full controllability via the JBL PartyBox app, making it easy and seamless to adjust settings. These sturdy sticks are balanced and do not sway if moved or bumped. They also provide Plenty of light in a large area to create the perfect ambiance to any gathering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good concept worked really well JBL Speakers The PartyLight Stick adds so much fun to the setup. The colours are bright, playful, and really help set the mood. During school events, children love the lights it gives that party feel without needing lots of decorations. Even adults get into it, which makes the whole event feel more lively and engaging. Both are super easy to set up and move around, and the battery lasts really well, so I never have to worry about charging halfway through an event. I’ve also used them at family gatherings and small parties with friends, and they always get compliments. These have truly become my go-to for any event. They make things feel more fun and bring people together.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mini Disco light Innovative idea that works well on small setting. It works well and connects instantly with the speaker and syncs without issue. Colour scheme and effect to offer club ambience. It is good it also works standalone without the speaker as it has microphone inside and sync to music it hears. Oodly the brightness is more when not connected to jbl speaker. I would have liked to be far more brighter that can throw light on the wall. However given the portability with battery built in, light weight and cost you couldn't ask for more. It is perfectly fine for medium room to large garden party.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing light tube This light stick is a must for any party animal. Its pairs well with any of the party boxes. Take it out the box charge it and then take it anywhere, yes you heard that right it’s rechargeable. Connect it up to the app check for any software update and you’re all ready to go. Different light controls, colours and speeds available. You can play music from your phone and they will work if you don’t have the party box. Has the ability to sync with the party box so colours stay the same. At night it’s like being on a stage but with your own lighting. The base is nice and sturdy so if you knock it, it doesn’t fall over.

Can JBL PartyLight Stick automatically identifies and syncs to any movie, too?

Thanks for your question. No, the JBL PartyLight Stick does not automatically identify or sync to movies. It is designed to react based on sounds, not with visual content like movies. While it may react to audio from a movie’s soundtrack, it doesn’t have the capability to analyze video or automatically detect scene changes, dialogue, or other cinematic elements to create synchronized light shows.

Are they able to play music without a party box connection?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Partylight Stick does not have a speaker and isn’t capable of playing music. Its function is a light show that you control with the JBL PartyBox app, or you can sync its lights when connected to a PartyBox speaker with the Auracast feature.
