Rated 5 out of 5 by rdbar71 from Fantastic! This is the third one of these I have purchased and I love them! You do need to purchase the hub as well, but it's well worth the money. The setup is easy, I love the Tapo iPad app, and it works perfectly every time.

I have an elderly family member that wanders. How do I set this up to trigger an alarm and light system with this defice to alert them.

Thanks for your question. You will need a Tapo Hub to facilitate a synced connection with Smart Lights and Siren, which are purchased separately. Instructions are proprietary, and set-up, including assigning triggers and responses, can be found on the free Tapo App. Hope this helps! ^CO

Great question Pedro! A hub is not necessary as you can place then to monitor cabinets, fridge, or mailbox etc, however, a paired hub can sound a siren to warn of danger and deter intruders, and can pair with specific designated sensors within the home. Trust this helps clarify! ^CO
