Thanks to its powerful floodlight and HDR technology, the video quality is crystal clear during the day and at night. The motion detection is incredibly accurate, and I love being able to customise alerts through the app. The setup was quick and straightforward, and the sleek design blended well with my home’s exterior. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use When Council refused to provide a light and camera in our back lane for safety, we as neighbours did it ourselves. The Arlo Floodlight Camera provides light to ladies walking to their cars after work & we all feel much safer now. We used a solar charger and mounted it high on a neighbours house so it can't be tampered with and amazingly, it works with my Arlo hub, some distance away. Fantastic product and was easy to install and use. Love it and would highly recommend it to any neighbourhood looking for an extra layer of light and safety

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good camera, Poor battery + storage of footage I’ve had this camera for three months and the quality of footage is good, however, it sometimes misses picking up motion of people walking past. I still think the camera itself is great but you have to pay Arlo about $15 every month if you want all the features of the camera and extended storage. Good cameras, however, I wouldn’t buy rechargeable cameras again where you have to continue paying the company forever. Stick to hard wired cameras with a hard drive that you can set and forget.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good compact package but need an update The floodlight is strong, and the video quality is good during the day and for static objects at night. However, faces become blurry in motion at night, which is problematic. Additionally, the camera occasionally goes into hibernation at night and fails to record anything, which defeats the purpose. I have checked all suggestions, updates, etc., but the issue persists. Battery life is reasonable. Product has been in for a long time with no upgrade, it is gradually becoming obsolete.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great lighting The lighting and camera are great, but be warned you need a subscription to see any videos or playback in your library, had I have known this I would never have purchased it, it’s basically a sensor light unless you have a subscription. I am really disappointed and even though I also have 5 of the cameras that work fine without a subscription, I will be looking elsewhere for cameras in the future, sorry Arlo you’ve lost me

Will this camera work on a Arlo Pro 2 base station?

Hi there. Thanks for your question. It will depend on what base station you have. You can connect your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera to a VMB5000 or VMB4540 SmartHub or to a VMB4500 or VMB4000 base station. Hope this helps
