Just wondering what the maximum effective range is where the camera can be mounted a distance away from the wifi / home unit . As wanting to put a camera on our garage

Hi Jimmy, it connects wirelessly to the HomeBase 3, not directly to your home Wi‑Fi. In normal conditions, the effective range between the camera and HomeBase is up to around 30 metres in open space, and typically 15–25 metres through walls or solid materials like brick or concrete. For a garage, it generally works well as long as the HomeBase is positioned inside the house as close as possible to the garage-facing wall, and the signal strength shows at least two bars in the app.
