Easy to setup,.good quality streaming.
Easy setup straight out the box, had it connected and up and running in minutes.
Good quality video, no false alerts. I'm just running this on its own without the hub at moment and having no issues at all. Plenty of built in storage.
Solar seems to be keeping it topped up. Bare in mind their is a bug in the latest firmware update so solar wont charge it up beyond 96% but they are looking into it. Once your unit drops to 95% solar kicks in and then hold it at 96% constantly (as long as it's in a sunny spot),
I will be adding more of these shortly!

Peace of mind
I initially brought 2 of these cameras and the Homebase3 and decided to buy 2 more to cover other areas of the flats where I live. They have given me peace of mind whilst away from the property and at night. The notifications that come through are helpful and in particular the siren via the homebase which I activate at night and is very helpful in my carport as I know I will easily sleep through a text notification but not the siren. The solar power charging and wireless set up is great as no electrician is needed just a drill. I brought these for surveilance of visitors and contractors to the property but have captured 3 prowlers during the night and have good clear images of their faces. Make sure when you install the camera's that they are within the 2-3 metre as stated in the handbook as if you have the cameras too high, you will not capture their faces. Attach the bracket to the camera and look via your phone the most suitable place to install the bracket and you can't go wrong. The cost of the cameras and homebase were the best investment and I recommend them to family and friends over home alarm systems as house alarms mean the person/s are already inside your home, whilst these cameras warn you someone is loitering/entering on your property.

Can the A.I function be turned off on these cameras?
Yes, the AI function on the Eufy SoloCam S220 can be turned off through the Eufy Security app. Disabling AI-based human detection will impact the camera's ability to distinguish between human and non-human motion, potentially leading to more frequent notifications for all types of movement. Hi, I searched for security camera's that were compatible with Apple HomeKit & this one came up - I can't see anything mentioned in the blurbs/specs so would like to know if it actually is compatible?
Unfortunately, the Eufy Solocam S220 C21 does not support Apple HomeKit. According to Eufy, this is only available on eufyCam S3 Pro, eufy Smart Lock E30/E31/C34, IndoorCam E30, Indoor Cam Pan & Tilt 2K, Indoor Cam 2K, eufyCam 2/2Pro, and eufyCam 2C/2C Pro connected to eufy HomeBase 2. Do the Eufy Solo S40 camera's need their own homebase? They won't connect to our wifi.
Great question Areann. Yes, the T8124CW1 (S40) can connect directly to your WiFi network without needing a HomeBase 3 and is designed to operate independently via the a 2.4GHz network band. You will need to use the Eufy Security app when connecting to WiFi. ^CO
