Do these doorbell cameras operate only when rung or are they activated by motion detection, how long are recorded activations retained for review?

Hi there. The doorbell works when rung as well as when they detect motion and are triggered. The record length can be set by the homeowner from 15 seconds to a maximum of 2 minutes after motion is detected. We trust this helps with your query
