Don't hesitate buy it NOW!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started on a gas grill when I got married, eventually switching to a pellet grill. After a few years I decided to give the Kamado Joe a try to challenge and push myself outside of my comfort zone. Let me tell you, it was the best decision I ever made. I love my classic II! I built it into my outdoor kitchen and it has become the focal point and go to in my arsenal of grills. The Kamado takes BBQ to another level that a traditional gas grill or smoker just can't achieve successfully. I just purchased the Doejoe and Joetisserie to up my game as well. The Kamado Joe has so many accessories to change how you BBQ so make sure you get them all 🤩

The ***BEST*** BBQ Grill I've Ever Owned!!
We've owned our Kamado Joe for almost four years now and we absolutely ***LOVE IT.*** Over the past 45 years I've owned several different Weber grills and a Traeger pellet grill. NOTHING COMPARES to the flavor produced by our Kamado Joe. We only use the Kamado Joe charcoal because it has THE BEST flavor of all the hardwood charcoals we've experimented with...very unique! WE use our Kamado Joe year-around...and a Kamado Joe Turkey has become a tradition now at our home for Thanksgiving. So delicious! I MOST STRONGLY RECOMMEND this Kamado Joe if you are looking for a ceramic egg style grill. You won't find any better!

AWESOME!
I looked at a few kamado type grills and went with the Kamado Joe, what a great decision! I am different than most people, I use my grill at least 4-5 times a week year-round. I have the grill under a covered area, I cook with pretty much any weather condition with rain, snow and freezing temps. I purchased my Kamado Joe approx. 3 years ago, after the first ribeye cook on the Joe my wife said "I don't want anything cooked on the gas grill again". I cook everything imaginable on the grill from fish and vegetables to 12-14 hour cooks with pork butts. After 3 years of real use, the Kamado Joe looks and cooks like new. Love it!

Always makes great tasting food
I bought my Classic Joe in 2010. We liked to grill and I wanted better taste than what the gas grill provided. We get tenderloin steaks that are about 2 1/2 inches thick at the store. I learned I could get the grill as hot as 700 degrees and cook the steaks 3 minutes on each side then close it down and leave them in for 3 more minutes and they would come out perfectly seared outside and medium rare inside. I’ve had many compliments on them. My sons wanted them for their birthday every year so I bought them each a Classic Joe for Christmas 6 years ago. I’ve done pretty well with ribs and butts as well. We love our Kamado Joe and the flavor we get!

Very versatile, but with a couple quirks
Works great at from low to high temps (250 F to 800+ F). The two tier cooking is nice and use of the deflector plates offers a lot of versatility for direct and indirect smoking to high temp grilling. Very solid and when adjusted properly, it will be airtight when finished cooking to save charcoal. The quirks are having the side tables made of plastic, rather than heat proof metal, and especially having all four wheels able to spin making it sometimes squirrels to maneuver, especially into a smaller BBQ shed. Also, the rubber wheels fell apart after several years. Replaced them with 4" (from the original 3") making it somewhat easier to maneuver.

First timer loves how easy grilling on a KJ is!!
This is my first Kamado style grill. I was a little worried that I wouldn’t like it so I did a lot of researching before deciding. My friend has a BGE so he urged me to get one also. After discovering Kamado Joe I read tons of reviews and watched countless videos comparing KJ & BGE. The things that sold me on KJ were the color (BGE green is atrocious), much better fiberglass gasket vs felt on BGE, the BGE doesn’t come with a stand or any of the extras you get with Kamado Joe, and the Classic Joe II was $200 less than the same size BGE. I ordered my Classic Joe II directly from KamadoJoe.com and they threw in a free bag of big block charcoal and free shipping!! I’ve had it for only a month, but I’ve used it 8 times already. I knew nothing about cooking this way and now I’m turning out great ribs, brisket, steaks and smoked Thank you Kamado Joe for making such an awesome product!!

From Novice to Pro!
I got my Big Joe for Christmas in 2018 and throughout 2019 I made it my mission to learn how to use it effectively. I must say, today I am producing brisket, pastrami, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and pizza that blow people away and rival many restaurants. I continue to marvel at how my Big Joe allows me to create such amazing meals. I love the Kamado Joe Big Lump charcoal as well.

Exchanged Other brand for a KJ and never regret it
Had less money and bought another brand Kamado as it was cheaper than the KJ classic. Then the KJ2 came out and this was a game changer. My Kamado got quality issues and after two replacements the dealer agreed that I got my money back. Kudos for Their Support as well. But I just added 500 bucks to the budget and got my a KJ2. What a nice thing and after 2 years already, no cracks, minor issue with the vent (replaced under warranty) and still happy. Yeah I would love to have the KJ3, but this version is also great. If you are on a budget, just buy this one. The quality is good, the innovation is great. Other brands are really behind.
