Hi Victoria, this Barbeque comes as one piece. The top can not be removed. It is fixed to the bottom stand. We hope this helps

What is the full width assembled?

Great question Jack. The total cooking area for this is 720Wmm x 420Dmm, while the assembled dimensions are 1400Wmm x 1130Hmm x 545Dmm, and will update to reflect on our website. Trust this helps!
