Unique design, top performer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've really enjoyed how truly light weight this hair dryer is. Coupled with this, it has a compact design, meaning it doesn't take up a lot of space in a bathroom cabinet or drawer. I was impressed at how quickly it dried my towel dried hair, meaning a reduced time styling my hair in the morning, resulting in getting out the door quicker. It doesn't emit a lot of noise also which definitely is a positive in terms of its design. This hairdryer is quite unique looking, which did put me off slightly. However, based on its overall performance, I do recommend it.

I’ve only had this for a week but it already lives up to and, indeed, exceeds my expectations. I own an earlier Dyson supersonic hairdryer which I have been using happily for 9 years, but, due to an arthritic shoulder, I was looking for something more lightweight - and this certainly fits the bill. It is very manoeuvrable due to it’s ergonomics; the 5 attachments are great - I use them all even though my hair is short - and I love that they each retain my chosen heat/airflow settings; the colour is very classy. A pleasure to use. Well done Dyson!

Obsessed doesn’t cover it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely DIED over how amazing this hairdryer is! It’s so quiet and the air is so powerful it actually pushes back on you. The attachments are GREAT! I’m having a lot of fun playing with some of the new (to me) ones. My only point of criticism is that the cord is 1m shorter than the old professional dryer and there is no diffuser.

Have a look at the charger before buying
I didn’t expect a charger so big and heavy that can’t fit in most sockets. All the benefits of the good ergonomics, performance, technology disappear when dealing with such charger.

Too Pricey
This is a nice, but HIGHLY overpriced, hair dryer. I own the Dyson hair wrap and it is phenomenal. While this dryer is very lightweight- it just dries the hair (at a high heat)., and smooths , not a styler, so I think the price point is over the top.

Featherlight yet exceptionally powerful, it dries my hair faster than any dryer I’ve ever used - without leaving it overheated or dry. My hair feels silky and almost completely free of flyaways. The magnetic attachments are not only beautifully designed and effortless to use but also incredibly effective for different styling needs, delivering salon-quality results. Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this through the Dyson trial period. As a hairstylist I really enjoy using my Dyson Supersonic R blow dryer. It’s incredibly lightweight, which makes it easy to handle, It blowdries hair super fast, saving me time with each client. I love how it remembers the settings for each attachment and it is quiet. The only downside is the large plug, compared to the other dyson blowdriers. Still, if would absolutely recommend and I’d give it a solid 4.9 out of 5 stars!
