Misleading Advertising
In late Nov/early Dec, I purchased this FlexStyle hair dryer. I bought it solely for the purpose of diffusing. I saw the diffuser attachment advertised in the pictures, but at the time it wasn't listed as a selectable accessory (see photos), so it lead me to believe it was included with the FlexStyle automatically. Additionally, there was no disclaimer on the photo to say the attachment needed to be bought separately (at the time).
So, I received my FlexStyle without the diffuser attachment. Since sharing my concerns about the misleading advertising, all of a sudden the diffuser attachment is listed as a selectable accessory on this FlexStyle. I have been extremely disappointed with this misleading advertising, especially considering I've been a fan of Shark and Ninja for years.

Doesnt hold curls, cumbersome to use
My hair is thick 2b which generally holds curls/ styles well. I bought this after researching reviews that it seems to work better on coarser/ thicker hair and tried everything (using on dry & damp hair, with & without product) but nothing makes the curls hold more than a few hours. It's a very cumbersome device and not worth it for the price. I tried to return at 3.5 weeks post purchase and Shark declined saying they offer returns within 14 days which is ridiculous given you need time to try it at least 1-2x before deciding it's not for you.
Would not reccommend.

Worth the investment!
I've been using the Shark Flex-Style with the oval brush and curling attachments for the past month and I love it. So light and easy to use with one hand. I recently injured one of my hands, so was looking for a way to dry and style my long hair with one hand, this makes the job easy.

So Versatile
I love how I can fit different attachments easily depending on how I want to style my hair. It's great to have a hairdryer that can be quickly turned into another styler. It did take me a few goes to get the look I wanted, learning through trial and error what worked best for my hair. Love the Oval Brush the best. Not overly impressed with the defrizz attachment as it only really works on the surface of the hair and not underneath. The variable airflow and temperatures are really, really good. This enables me to customise the settings perfectly for my hair.

Model 1 excellence
I bought the Shark Air Styling System Model HD440SLANZ and have absolutely loved it!! it is perfect - easy to use, curls stay in, hair wraps around the wands very easily. I have used other brands and this is equal to what I have used. I needed another so recently bought the HD421SL Model. I am very disappointed with the air wrap curlers. They are designed differently and my hair is unable to wrap around the curler. I feel it has been a waste of my money entirely.

Not worth the money
I was gifted this as a birthday present and must say that it is not worth the money. It is too bulky, too hard to handle if you are curling your hair, the lead is bulky as well. It does not take your hair to curl easy, and it is longer to try and curl your hair compared to a regular curler. If my family who bought this for me could get a refund, I would accept it, as overall I am not happy with this produce

Great for such a little dryer.
Find this little dryer very powerful and dries my hair quickly, and thoroughly. The attachments assist in keeping the frizz down, and make drying with one hand easy, with the brush on the dryer there's no need for the dryer in one hand and a brush in the other. Great product. I'm pleased I made the purchase. I wanted a hairdryer on the smaller side for travel.
