Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ouch I bought this sight unseen to help with a painful upper back and shoulder. The trouble is, this back massager doesn't reach the upper back or the shoulder area. I'm only 5.2ft and this machine is not designed for my height. The neck massager is brutal and thumps my head. The rotating balls are painful, there is no way to lower the pounding pressure, although there is a selection to move the rotating balls further apart. My adult son who's around 5.10ft also found this thing painful and wondered what possessed me to buy it.....I wonder the same thing 🤔 In summary I can't really find any redeeming qualities to recommend this. If you enjoy pain, perhaps this may float your boat, but if you're looking for pain relief, avoid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best money can buy. We have had our massage machine for about 20yrs and we still use it nearly every week or so. It helps so much with our back muscles it’s not funny. Best thing money can buy. Would not hesitate getting another one. The only fault is it’s way to long to use both back and neck massages in the same sitting. I’m 6’3 and whoever designed must have been a giant.

The only thing is that the shoulder massager doesn't fit the shoulders at all it hits the back on your head and the back massager only goes half way up the back so the shoulders or upper back doesn't get done at all there's a big gap in between those areas.

Can this be placed in a reclining chair and use it while reclined?

Thanks for your question Maya. While this is designed for home use, its designed to be strapped to a chair. The rollers can be jammed by excessive pressure and recommend using it in a sitting position in the recliner for maximum comfort and effectiveness with reduced chance of damage. ^CO

Will this work in the car? Does have a car adapter
