Rated 1 out of 5 by from quality issue with handle tip - makes a loud sound Second time i'm submitting a warranty repair for this product in less than a year. The handle tip is loose creates a very loud buzzing sound. . I have sent both of my toothbrushes to phillips for warranty replacement and hopefully, identification of the underlying recurrent cause. This is a quality issue that has not been addressed or satisfactorily addressed. My husband bought a significantly cheaper version of this brush several years ago and has had zero issues. I previously had a sonicare for 15+ years without any issues at all. Dont need the high tech bluetooth functions. Just need a brush that works consistently and long term.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really works better After 2 uses, I could feel the difference in my teeth. I've used Sonicare for years, and this is best by far. No impressed with the APP, but the new head design gets between the teeth and makes my teeth feel smooth and clean. This time, I actually read and followed the brushing instructions. Hold the brush at 45 degree angle. I really don't care about the sensors, and the strength of the ultrasonic vibration seems similar to my old diamond clean. The travel case is compact. My last brush failed in less than 2 years, hopefully this will last longer. Photos show app feedback and comparison to older brush design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Toothbrush! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had Sonicare toothbrushes before, and this time I switched back to Sonicare from an Oral B. Sonicare wins hands-down. The app helps ensure that you don’t miss a spot while brushing, which is a nice perk. What I love about this model above the other Sonicare options is that there are no seams around the buttons for gunk to build up in. The buttons are seamless and touch-sensitive. I’m also a huge fan of this new brush head and feel that it gets my teeth cleaner. Finally, this brush holds a charge better than older models, and FAR better than my top-of-the-line Oral B model, (I can easily yet 25 days on a full charge, brushing 3x a day)!

The SenseIQ technology genuinely tunes into my brushing style, tweaking its performance in real-time. I was stunned at how it reached the tricky spots, making plaque removal a breeze. And despite its powerful cleaning, it’s quite gentle on my gums. I saw less redness and puffiness in just two weeks. The stain removal feature is a winner too, my teeth look noticeably brighter. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I purchased the Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige because it was the top of the range, and I thought it would be the best electric toothbrush and give the best results. I am hugely disappointed with this product. Although it has five modes: deep clean, clean, white, gum health and sensitive; you can’t move between modes unless you open the App on your phone using WIFI or Bluetooth. I don’t expect to have to fiddle with my phone while I’m cleaning my teeth. But I do want to use ‘deep clean’ and move on the ‘white’ during cleaning without having to log on to my phone. How ridiculous, how disappointing. What a waste of money….

The toothbrush has power and cleans very well. The traveling case charges the toothbrush when out of town or simply on the go. I believe that my carrying case is leather, which adds to the appeal and luxury feel. The only downside to this toothbrush could actually be considered a fatal flaw in my opinion there is a delay in the on-off switch. The first time I use the toothbrush I turned the power off remove the brush from my mouth and was splattered with toothpaste because the toothbrush did not go off

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful and Effective [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toothbrush comes with a nice travel case which has the capability to charge the toothbrush while still in the case. It also has a good charging base in which the charger is separate allowing for easy cleaning of the base when needed. The toothbrush has 3 different intensity settings. I used the strongest one. The toothbrush is a little loud on the strongest setting but its my teeth incredibly clean. With my regular toothbrush, I normally have some coffee stains even after brushing but noticed them lightening after one use of this toothbrush.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great toothbrush - room for a few minor improvemen I love how clean my teeth feel after using this toothbrush and I love that it tracks when I should change the brushhead. It would be great if it behaved the same in all other modes as it does in the normal 'clean' mode. In this mode, it gives you the option to go back over sections of your teeth you may not have brushed so well. In other modes, it suggests you do this but restarting the toothbrush only offers you the option of cleaning your entire mouth again. I also feel like the sensors make it so that the chewing surface of your teeth could be completely overlooked when brushing (if you were to concentrate on following the app completely).
