Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product is versatile and has good battery life [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Deserves a 5 star rating from me because of it versatility. my husband likes to cut his beard at 3-4 days (sometimes once a week) and it gets to be big by then, so the mini cutter on the side helped him to cut it down to a suitable length, then he used the shaver to do the finish touch. In a few words, don't need to have more tools to do that. He will just use this shaver. Not to mention, very good battery life and fast charging. Will recommend to anyone who is on the go all the time, if you are traveling, but also if you don't like to have loads of accessories around in your bathroom, so keeps the place tidy.

You can get very good results with this Philips piece, if you're willing to take your time and carefully run over every bit - it will get all of the beard. Not to worry, the battery lasts a decent amount of time (about 55 minutes here). The pop up trimmer is a good invention too (really never owned one before), helps with the access of narrow angles of face and shaving accuracy. This shaver comes with a good quality pouch so you don't have to keep the gadget in it's box (like I do) - saves space! Time to say "goodbye" to my old shaver now.

I am very impressed with the quality of this razor. I have sensitive skin and have to be careful all the time. But this one felt really nice and I didnt have any blemishes or irritation after I used it. Close and comfortable shave wet or dry and the trimmer works well too. It is very easy to clean as well as the shaver head can be opened to clean under running water. Battery life is perfectly fine, quick to charge and ideal to carry around if traveling. Overall it's very good quality product, love it and highly recommended.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very underpowered! I have been a fan of Philips Norelco electric shavers since I started shaving as a teenager. I’ve always loved my Norelcos until I bought the 3800 and was very disappointed with its performance. This shaver is way underpowered, but I don’t know if it’s a motor or battery problem. I thought when I first used this shaver that it just needed a battery charge but soon realized I would have to take twice as long to shave now since you have to shave slower and go over areas more than once. I always liked the 3000 series shavers because the replacement blades were affordable compared to the higher priced models. Maybe this is Norelco’s way of phasing out these once great shavers?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pulled hairs [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The device is really lightweight so doesn't bother you holding it for a shaving session. I tried this on my face and it did a pretty good job of getting the hairs out quick and even but it kept ripping some of them out. It gave me a few little cuts from that. I don't know if my hair was too long to use it with but a two week no shave was too long. If you're using this to do it every few days it works better. I think the key is shorter hair for this device. I didn't get any ripped out then. Overall after using it a few times I wouldn't start using this over the Braun one I currently have. Sideburns clean up blade is neat but my other has that too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Close shave [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shave is one of the best I have purchased, my old shaver left a rash and burns but this shaver has left my skin smooth, it's the best close shave iv had, i tried the dry shave expecting it to be sore but no it is a breath of fresh air, the wet shave is just as good, the instructions are easy to follow, the shaver itself isnt to heavy and easy to glide across the face and neck, I like that it comes in it's own caddy so easy to store, it doesnt come with a uk plug so a universal plug would be needed.

Also as he has been going to a few interviews lately so thought this might help as I have heard great reviews about them online. My son says: The reason why I have given 5 star is because the shaver gives deep shave especially when I have very sensitive skin and after I’ve shaven the skin feels very smooth and soft. Yes I would recommend this shaver to my friends and family. Great gift idea too , might get it for my friends as their birthdays are coming up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This razor is very good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3000 wet and dry razor was good on opening I noticed straight away how light it is compared to others which I really liked so I then went to charge my razor which did not take long just 1 hour and then it last an hour once charged, so I then tried the razor one side I dried the dry shave and that worked really well, I could still feel a tiny bit of hair but overall it was very good. Then I tried the other side wet shaved and I found that to be more difficult to use as you had to keep cleaning the blades but did still do the job but took longer. This razor is also perfect for when you’re not at home. As it is so light and compact overall I believe that this razor works better with a dry shave
