Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shaver for the price I have had several different electric shavers of the years, including a few from Philips, and this one is as expected. I have never had any issues with my other Philips but this one was far better. I think the battery life was much better than I expected and had very little to none hairs pulls when using it. The easy fit in my hand, the lightweight of the shaver allowed for easy and quick shaves. I think the cost is at par as compared to others I have owned in the past as well as what is out there I the market today. This shaver is going to be a keeper and cant wait to see how it performs over the long haul.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Shaver, good battery life Starting off with its shape, I like how ergonomic it is and how it fits well on my hand while shaving. Cuts closer then most shavers I`ve had in the past, especially around the chin. The built in Trimmer is a plus! Convenient for sideburns trimming. Battery life is average and on par with other shavers I`ve owned. Charges overnight and I was able to shave for two weeks without needing recharge. Cleaning the hair collector chamber with the brush can get annoying and time consuming. i would suggest having the head pivot on the unit and be waterproof so that it can be washed and cleaned quickly. Overall it is a solid shaver.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features and attachments [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recommend this product to those who like a clean shave, great little feature to help with hard to access areas and also for shaping. You’ll find this shaver is so quiet I found myself able to shave before night shift without waking my wife up. The shaver was easy to understand and use it was a comfortable shave and found it was easy to manoeuvre on all areas. I like the finishing touch the cover for the shaver it keeps it tidy. Charging cable is just your standard charger. I had no problems at all with this but have given it 4 star oppose to 5 because more attachments would be better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product well designed and easy to hold. Bought my 2000 series shaver, a few months ago and the unit's motor began to get slower and slower. I did charge the unit as per directions. However the motor slowing down during shaving continued. Finally on February 14th,2024, the motor finally stopped working and would not start. I tried charging unit again, motor began working then stopped soon as I began to shave. Not at all happy with this unit. I have always been a fan of the Norellco plugged in unit. Very disappointing results with the battery operated unit. I probably will not purchase another Phillips Norellco , I cannot afford to keep buying and experimenting with these products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shaves as good as a blade I have used several electrics in my life. This is the first rotary and i was very surprised. I have a tough beard and the flat style electrics did not capture the beard well. They did an ok job but not good so i used a razor blade. This rotary did a job almost as good as a blade! I loved the battery life got a week of shaves and it felt good in my hand and easy to clean. If your looking for an electric this norelco is a great one to try. I will definitely buy one.

I could not use a regular razor and my old Phillips Norelco is corded and hard to reach from the plug while inpatient. The new razor was fully charged as instructed and barely cuts the hair on my face. It was so weak that I went back to my old plug in and my wife held the cord so It would reach for me. This razor is NOT worth what she paid for it and cannot be used.

The shaver has an easy to use on/off button and can be used both attached to cord and cordless. A full charge gave me a full weeks worth of shaving before needing charged again which is fantastic. The rotary blades give an amazing close to the skin shave, leaving the skin feeling smooth afterwards. The shaver was a lot quieter than I was expecting meaning I could easily shave in my ensuite without disturbing my partner. The shaver was easy to clean after use by running under water. The shaver itself is lightweight and easy to grip with a firm grip handle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A very basic shaver that just gets the job done. The Philips Shaver Series 2300 is very light weight and does not have a real sense in your hand. It feels inferior to other products which has some weight and presence. The shaver provided a mediocre shave, I had to go over multiple times to get all the facial hair. Even after multiple passes it still left a tiny stubble. The head of the shaver did not pivot which would have been more comfortable to use. The trimmer on back was very difficult to open to use. The trimmer shaved a clean line on my sideburns. The battery life was still good after 3 weeks of daily use. It is a basic electric shaver with no luxury feel. This would probably be a good starter electric shaver and is probably the lower end of shavers.
