Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product works very well for my purposes. I use this to keep my all of my upper torso hair below my neck trimmed short and uniform. Same for legs. Also use this to keep my entire mid region shaved smooth and down to skin with no stubble. This is to include entire genital region including all manly appendages. No issues there what so ever, just need to keep skin reasonably tight while shaving. Does not catch skin nor is it irritating. Does a nice job, both my wife and I enjoy the smooth look and feel. Would buy again. I run battery to full depletion each time and only hook up charger to depleted shaver. Excellent battery life so far. I use this unit dry only. That works for me.

Great for manscaping and shaves close. Very easy to clean and being waterproof makes it that much better. The shaver was fully charged before first use and it has been almost three weeks of use about every other day and yet to have to charge it again, so fully charge it the first time and let it drain all the way down is my best advice as the battery charge appears to last long. Nice attachments for grooming longer hair and back extension is a great adder if you have to trim your back hair. Would recommend the product, great value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not powerful enough [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my Bodygroom 3500, I was excited for the cordless feature as well as the two sided blades for quicker trimming. I had been using an old hair cutting trimmer for years and I was getting sick of the 'clunky-ness' of it. When I used my Bodygroom 3500 for the first time, I started with my leg. With just two strokes, it stopped cutting my hair. I brushed the hair it collected out of the guide and went again, but it only cut for one stroke this time. I didn't have the patience to clean out the head with every stroke I used it for, so I switched back to my old regular hair trimmer.

I am quite old-fashioned and am used to using manual razors. Grooming is a task and I really needed a product that was versatile and could cut my grooming time down. This product is very light weight for its size. It isn’t bulky and I can easy hold it for long periods of time. It comes with multiple attachments so I can determine how close I want to trim. I have used it on my chest, back, face, and groin. No pulling of hairs or any discomfort. This product has become a staple in my grooming regime and if it ever fails, I would happily buy a second.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome body shaver [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so easy to use and can get a nice shave in those hard to reach areas. I love the extension on the shavers to be able to reach my back side. The many different heads for this shavers is awesome if you aren't wanting to be completely bald. It works so smoothly and is completely pain free. Some shavers so feel like rip the hair out but this is so smooth around your skin. The directions are very simple. This product doesn't involve a bunch of maintenanceor upkeep which is perfect for my busy schedule. I had to go over a couple areas a few times but other than that it worked perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Effective but only for cautious operators It works well to trim down medium length hair with relative closeness with one pass. I like the built in trimmer for this reason. But if hair is thick, you have to use another trimmer first as to avoid getting it bogged down and pulling hairs. I like the ergonomic shape and the attachment to reach my back. The waterproofness is a good touch, too. The blade will sometimes pop out if you catch your skin just right, but not nearly as bad as my old Bodygroom--the head wouldn't even stay in place on it. Also, you have to be VERY careful around sensitive areas or you'll end up with nicks and blood! I do recommend this product, but only if you're very cautious on those delicate areas. For regular arms, back, chest, etc. it works pretty well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inferior NiMH batteries This is my second Bodygroomer. I bought the original when it came out many years ago. I like the products very much. I hate that they only last 1-2 years. In all of these years, Norelco is still putting NiMH batteries in these groomers. For the price they charge, i would expect a longer lifespan. Batteries no longer charging is a rampant issue and has been since they introduced the product line. My current one, a BG2040 lasted about 2 years. Do they offer a service to replace the batteries for a reasonable price? I cannot find one. When are you going to upgrade these to LiOn batteries? Every Norelco product I have purchased (3 shavers and 2 groomers) have suffered the same fate. Batteries not charging and no service to replace them. This is why I will not buy another Norelco product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Body Groomer Ever [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are a guy that wants to remove body hair, especially back hair, without the pain and cost of waxing or without enlisting the help of a friend, you need this! The handle attachment is a thing of genius - I can basically shave my back hair in the shower before I turn on the water in about 2 minutes. This body groomer is basically an old-school electric shaver with a contoured face to make it more comfortable on sensitive body parts. Use it once a week or every two weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows and how smooth you want to stay. Never nicks or cuts, and is minimally irritating while shaving - more so if you let the hair grow long.
