Good but not as good as it started out as.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the shaver is good. My first impressions were how fast and complete it shaved. I really liked the AI feedback. After a month, I am noticing a couple things; 1)battery life is very short. I leave the shaver in the charging stand so it is always fully charged but after a 2-3 minute shave and a single cleaning run in the upside down cleaner, the battery is often at 64%, that means 2 shaves and 2 cleanings on a single charge; 2)after about a month I notice I am missing a number hairs in every shave and need to go back and touch up. This is likely how I am shaving but come on shaving isn’t that difficult.

Battery depletion is a major flaw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had about 7 Philips shavers, always buying the top of the line. The battery of this shaver is terrible. I returned the shaver after 3 weeks. My battery would deplete and need recharging after 3 shaves. My shaves were about 2'30" long and I used the cleaning device from my previous shaver after each use. I thought it was a bad battery, but the replacement I got is little better. I got 5 shaves and after recharging my battery is nearly dead on the replacement. My other Phipils shavers would last about 10+ shaves between recharging.
Not practical for traveling due to the bulky and heavy container.
Doesn't come with a plug!!

It stinks! But apparently it's the best one out so
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. The shaver heads don't stay in place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They come loose when opening to clean.
2. The color/light system is never consistent. Makes me feel I am doing something wrong.
3. Manual cleaning is a must! How else would you rid all the small hairs that get trapped in the shaver heads?
4. Have to open to manually remove hairs more than once during shaving.
5. Still have stubble when done.
Other than that is works great lol But why did you have to make the trimmer an attachment rather than a flip-up?

Worth a try? Yes, depending on your type of hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the first month of use of two, I would rate it a 5+. A very fine shaver in all aspects. While I still love it overall, I find within 2 months I can feel the blades losing sharpness. I am concerned that within 6-12 months, they will be sufficiently dull to warrant new blades as my shaving time will increase significantly. I read something similar in a review prior to purchase, but hoped it was not the case. I suspect if you have a light hair growth you will have no problems. I have also found the charging percentages can change significantly per shave. For the price, I am a bit disappointed, but will hope for improvement as time goes on.

The Best Razor I’ve Ever Had
The Philips XP9405 is a fantastic product that gives you one of the closest shaves I have ever had from a had held electric razor. It’s looks good is easy to use and has it own app which you can use to see how your shaving skills are. It s a lightweight easy to use shaver and easy to charge on it’s own desk charging unit. The unit comes with its own app which will tell you all types of things like when to clean and are you using the correct pressure on your face that will give you a good shave
This shaver is the best of the best it’s not the cheapest on the street but if your look for an electric razor that gives you a shave as good as any wet razor, then this is the one for you.

Great Shaver
I purchased the i9000 Prestige Ultra XP9402/31 Wet and Dry Electric Shaver after receiving a promotional email from Philips. The shaver is comfortable to hold and gives a very close shave. It has lots of great features, including a light that changes colour, which together with the app lets you know how well you are using the shaver. The cleaning pod is very easy to use and I can also use the existing Jet Clean Solution I have from my previous Philips shaver. When I registered the shaver, it activated a 7 year warranty. It is suggested that the heads are changed every 2 years. I am very happy with my purchase and would thoroughly recommend especially when on promotion.

Buy only if on sale
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I had not gotten on sale, I probably would have returned it. This one shaves almost as good as my old one bought year’s ago. Had I been able to find replacement heads that cut like the original, I would have stayed with it. Phillips now makes head replacement's that are cheap and don’t flip open to clean. The flip open to clean is why I moved to new shaver. The three square cutting head will jab and pull if not held exactly flat against skin. The shave is okay but requires more pressure than previous Phillip shavers used over 50 years
