Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light easy to use painless. Bought on 12 Dec and followed instructions in booklet. I shave the hair on my chin as instructed before using machines but find I’m having to shave every 3rd day so use machine probably e times a week. I know it takes awhile to focus on each follicle to destroy hairs but the ones coming through all the time seem to be some hairs and very strong. I use this machine just for chin area and hope it works otherwise an expensive item. I don’t whether 3 times a week will help I don’t want to shave hairs and use machine only two weeks at a time as they grow long. Advice welcome please. I may have to return item reluctantly if no progress next few weeks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sadly saw no improvement I spent a lot of time reading reviews and was so excited to start treatment after reading all the success stories. I have pale skin and dark hair, and didn't see any reason why the Lumea wouldn't work for me. After completing the cycle, I was dismayed to see no change at all in my hair growth. Upon the advice of a beauty blog, I restarted the cycle, optimistic that another run-through would see an improvement, but it made no difference whatsoever. I don't normally spend large amounts on beauty equipment, but I made an exception in this case as I was sure it would be a great investment. I have been very disappointed and wanted to write a review to let others know that while many see good results after treatment, there is a possibility that it might not work for you.

I have tried a variety of hair removal products and none have ever worked as I have thick corse hair. I’ve used the lumea for 4 weeks now and I am blown away with the results. Previously I’ve had to shave daily which has always been very time consuming but with the lumea I’ve not had to touch a razor for days and my skin is much smoother than it’s ever been. I also suffer from darker hair around my upper lip and I had such a boost of confidence now it’s gone and no more pain or redness from waxing. I can’t rate this product enough and will continue to use it as recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t recommend enough! Could not recommend this product more to be honest! I’m 20(turning 21 on Saturday!) and I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries a while back. I had extremely dark AND thick facial hair, going from the bottom of my neck all the way up to my lower lip, side burns and top lip. I honestly felt like a man, it was awful. My confidence was so bad and my self worth was even lower. I bought this machine about 1 year ago and honestly I haven’t been as consistent with it as I probably should be, but my god, the difference! Hand on my heart, I only have hair grow on my chin, and it’s much thinner than it used to be, my confidence has shot up so much, I actually feel like a woman again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Immediate results! So glad I bought it. I saw immediate results. It does take longer to treat than stated when actually using it on different parts of your body, but it’s worth it in the longer term. I have a low pain threshold so in some parts it did hurt me - I just lowered the setting to manage it. Initially it only heated up once and I had to turn it off, but I was able to reuse it after a minute. After using the device around 8 times, the cooling recovery time is longer, so you do have to wait for around 4/5 mins to allow it to cool down. It happens about 2/3 times in a large area (e.g half a leg). But overall, I would recommend this product, it’s great and I should have bought it sooner.

At first it was hard to see any results but after being consistent after about 6-8 weeks the results became more obvious, I had less hair growth and slower hair growth. You have to remember to use this on time otherwise it may affect the process but you can just set a reminder on your phone or even better download the lumea app. The only issue I have is that the light only covered a small area which is perfect for face and under arms and bikini but for legs it does take a little longer trying to not miss any. Other than that great product love using it and would reccomend

After having so many friends of mine satisfied and recommending the purchase, I decided I should give it a chance. So far its been amazing. The manual and the app just made mt life easy when it came about how to start using it. My first time was quick, not a single pinch of pain and super doable even for someone who never tried anything like this before - just like me! The hair already took longer than usual to grow again, before the time of my second treatment. So far so good. Can't wait for the next sessions and more amazing results!

I use this on my upper lip, legs and under arms, and the results are just amazing, after the first use i noticed that hairs didn't grown back as quick as before, and after several uses the results are more than I could of ever expected, here's to a summer of no daily shaving and silky smooth skin.
