Unreliable
I'm not very happy with the price and the praise I've heard about it. It's crashed 3 times so far. The video recording quality, especially at night, is not good at all. The internal battery, which I think is a super capacitor, runs out a lot after being activated in parking mode. It's not very good at connecting to a computer. I tried with several systems but failed. When we connect it to a phone, it's too slow for review. I don't recommend it at all in this price range.

Midrange dashcam with solid features
Solid build, attaches to a mount with the cable plugged in so its easy to set up and remove. Touch screen with easy to use interface. Easy to use app to use with your PC. Used it at night and the audio and video were smooth and clear.

Buyer Beware
I brought this recently but have only used it a couple of times so far.
WARNING: One thing that you need to be aware of, no where in the ad does it say it needs you to buy a micro SD card for this to record on. I only found out when reading a review on line on this cam otherwise it would have been useless had I bought it, and it turned up without me knowing. (Was brought on line)
If you are selling a product that needs a SD Card like this does, it should be listed in the ad that you need to get it separately, or come with one even if its only the basic 32gb one.
When I contacted the Nextbase about this they said "They're not sold with an SD card so that you can decide on the size of SD card you'd like for your specific application."
That's great but at least let people know BEFORE BUYING IT THAT IT NEEDS ONE..
A lower rating because of this..
Other than that its easy to set up off the menu, and looks to record good video though haven't used it at night yet.

ok product but you cant buy mounts and you cant get it off your windscreen so keep in mind your buying this for one vehicle not transferable even if you sell vehicle. do not recommend #scam

Faulty suction cup
Not long after I bought the dash cam the seal to attach to windscreen got a tear in it. Unit was replaced but some thing appended again not long after

Ok unit but a tech issue still to be sorted.
A couple of tech issues still to be sorted like no sound when played back on phone. Other wise ok for the price and it came with a free rear camera.

Does this camera show the time and date on the screen while recording?
Hi Kavis. Thanks for your question. Yes, this will be displayed on the camera screen while it is not recording, as soon as you record the D&T will disappear, but it will time stamp the footage. You can adjust the time & date as required in the Setup Menu. Note: Time and date settings will be over-written upon satellite connection. Hope this helps.

Does this have internal memory and if so how long will it last?
