Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great add on [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this rear view to go with my 522gw and was so easy and simple to use just stick on the back window run the wire round the car and plug into the dashcam and then the picture comes up in a small box on the dashcam so you can see behind. So simple and easy and the picture quality is excellent! Great add on to any dashcam in the range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition to my 622GW Very nice little camera with excellent video quality & wide angle of view. I like how it attaches magnetically and is very easy to adjust. Another great feature is being able to view the rear camera whilst driving (either PIP or full screen) as this gives me a much better rear vision view than the mirror in my SUV offers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Complete car protection [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lets face it, you have a dashcam and it points to the front of your car, but did you ever stop to think that what if someone hits you from the rear? Now you can have complete peace of mind knowing your whole car is protected with a module you can add to your already fantastic dashcam. Nextbase have a Series 2 dashcam module that simply plugs into a compatible dashcam in the Nextbase GW range. You get a tool to hide the cable (5m cable included), but this is one reason for the 4 instead of 5 star review, because you can never hide all of the cable seeing as you need to go from the back to the front of your car, and hide it in a crevice already occupied by the front facing camera. The quality of the video is great, but not fantastic at night. But it is good to have a rear camera for those moments where you are unlucky enough to have someone hit from behind. One thing to note too, is the resolution settings, which are: 422/522GW Front 1080p Rear 1080p OR Front 1440p Rear 720p 322GW Front 1080p Rear 720p - ive taken that from the website because I think it is important to know that depending on the front facing resolution, the rear may change. Make sure you have a big memory card too, because if you have 2 cameras filming at high resolution, the card will fill up fast (although of course it records in a continuous loop, overwriting oldest data that is not flagged as collision). All in all I think this is a great, smart piece of kit that isnt invasive when using your rear view mirror, and gives great peace fo mind.

Good question Renee. We can confirm this is only compatible with Compatible with Nextbase 322GW, 422GW and 522GW models only, as these are the Rear Camera compatible models. Trust this helps! ^CO
