Rated 5 out of 5 by Classyguy from The only GPS you will ever need This is a fully featured GPS at a bargain price easy to set up but I recommend installing Garmin Express program on your PC and using it for updates initially. I have previous Garmin favourite places saved there so it was easy to replicate on this new one. The Bluetooth is a savoir as my vans Bluetooth is a dog to set up and now my phone access is simple. Voice commands are great but you need passengers to be quiet and have no wind noise. If you are not going to use it for a few weeks do a total power off by holding the power button until you get the message to shut down this will keep your battery charged unlike normal power off which only puts it to sleep and the battery will go flat requiring time before full functionality returns. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jontext88 from User friendly and quality hardware. As Good a stand alone GPS device you can now buy. Tom Tom don't make hardware anymore and only do maps for your phone. Navman are completely exiting the business end of 2026. Garmin are still in it 100% and you can tell. coming from other brand device i was going to be hard to please but i was pleasantly surprised to find the hardware great and the software driving it both good and user friendly. Your GPS device Has to user friendly to You to be really useful. Definitely worth the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Panny from The good and the bad of Garmin Drivesmart 66 is another great car GPS helper from Garmin, and at a decent price. My ancient Nuvi was also an excellent device in its time, but this new one is a significant upgrade. That's the good; now for the bad: As a company, you stink, Garmin. You do so, because, unlike for my old Nuvi, for which you included a good paper manual, you force your customers to go online for a digital PDF version. Well, Garmin, not every one on this planet has a smart phone, or a tablet – yet – which means that one without the 'benefit' of either of those timewasters would need to lug a laptop computer with him or herself on a trip. That's if they had such. As it happens, I have several such, on one of which I have converted the PDF to A5 size, and printed and bound the result into a book-form manual. But what of those without the benefit of the means and ability to do so? Yes, you stink, Garmin. On the other hand, my supplier, Harvey Norman, of New Plymouth, New Zealand, was, as usual reliable in delivery and price. Thank you, Harvey Norman staff.
