Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great value, will suit 90% of AV Receiver buyers. Good basic receiver with easy setup. One thing I love is that I can change the name of the inputs as displayed, eg, to Apple TV, and so now won't have to guess which one of HDMI inputs I'm selecting. Also, can boost dialogue audio level which is great if you are getting a bit on in years ;) . Remote has nice sized buttons, and not too many of them. On-screen controls are brilliant, easy to navigate. At the price, it's hard to beat. Haven't tried the bluetooth input, which may be useful in a party situation.

I've downsized where I live, and was getting tired of not having HDMI support in my receiver. The 385 is perfect for my medium size lounge room and so easy to set up. Nice to see the YAPO speaker calibration on the base model and Bluetooth work well for listening to the music on my phone. Very good value for money for the feature set.

I was expecting to have to go out and buy all new HDMI cords for ARC to work, it all works with the existing ones I had. It turns on and off with my TV and changes inputs when I turn something on. The only remote I need once set up is my TV one.

Are there options for adjusting eq or for what volume each section of speaker is. Via the remote or even an app?

Thanks for your question! Yes, you can adjust the EQ on the receiver by selecting the "Speaker" and then the "Equalizer" option in the setup menu, choosing the mode between GEQ or PEQ, and then using the cursor keys to select the desired channel and frequency band to adjust the gain. Also detailed in the included instructions. ^CO
