Does this unit have the ability to send audio output to wireless speakers, regardless of the input device?
Hi Shane, it can send audio wirelessly to Bluetooth speakers/headphones and Yamaha MusicCast speakers, and this works with most input sources (HDMI, optical, analogue, and streaming apps). However, it is not completely input‑agnostic: some formats such as DSD, SACD, and certain multichannel HDMI signals cannot be sent wirelessly, and Bluetooth output is limited to stereo rather than full surround sound.

Thanks for your question Steve. Yes, it does have the ability to hardwire speakers. This will need to be done to operate the unit. The music cast feature for Wifi speakers is more for extra zones or Dolby Atmos set up. Trust this helps!
