Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Addition for family room. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Smart Soundbar to replace a 10yo solo that’ll stopped working. Love the sleeker design and style. Sounds as great as solo, have not had a chance to do movies with the dts or advanced sound to talk on. Music is great as with all my Bose products and voice is great with tv shows. APP was ok during setup only issues were linking with my google assistant. Never got the api to log in but somehow the soundbar appeared in my google products and am able to control it either hey google. Would suggest one of the bass modules as the low end isn’t really there if you enjoy feeling the action.

It comes on automatically when the tv and cable box comes on and it works off the cable controller which is nice as we all understand the hassle of multiple remote controls. The only complaint is that when a person speaks, the words are slightly off from matching with their lips. I saw something online about that but haven't tried figure out how to sync it. We love the Bose sound, our old Bose TV/CD stereo system lasted 25+ years. I love my computer sound system too. We also have two 901 speakers I need to find a home for.

It is amazing and excellent crisp sound. The dialogues are crisp and crystal clear which i needed badly. Previously I couldn’t be able to hear the dialogues that much clear and I used to depend on captions. Now I don’t need. The listening music is great with Bose particularly Indian classical music. This I purchased to take it to India where I can enjoy music and movies in atmos .you can adjust the music as per your taste from Bose app. Thank you Bose for the excellent technology in a small bar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Soundbar Had it two weeks and has proved good with speech although surround sound not great even with a Dolby Atmos feed from Netflix programmes. It needs rear speakers to provide a more realistic 'surround' experience. A real pain to set up as it required a software update and then stuck in update mode for hours when it indicates 'up to 25 minutes'. Needed help from support desk but their advice did not produce results. Had to delete soundbar from App and start again when it did update and was set for use. I will need to purchase surround speakers and probably a subwoofer to really experience a decent 'surround' sound.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shocking app shocking soundbar I got this around a month ago and I have had nothing but issues with the app and the soundbar not turning on with the tv and sometimes not turning on at all with the power button on the top nor the app or remote Zero point having an app if 90 percent of the time it does not work and to get it working you have to re install the app. Even on sale it’s not worth it. Last bose product I buy not sure what happened to your standards Bose but they are long gone

While the vocal clarity is good, there's room for improvement. Pairing it with a Bose Bluetooth headset dramatically enhances the experience for late-night movies and gaming. Though I wish the app offered more fine-tuning options for audio enthusiasts, this soundbar is still a fantastic product overall.

The upward and frontal firing speakers produce great immersive sound. This is connected via an optical cable and is a far better solution than buying separates for a pc. The sound bar automatically wakes up when connected via optical as there is a way to configure this. I would highly recommend product.
