Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp sound and extremely easy setup [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cant get over how easy it was to connect and use this soundbar. 1 HDMI cable to the HDMIarc and I was ready to go! The calibration button is on the remote, simple click, some funky sounds later and done. I immediately noticed how crisp the dialogue and mid range sounds. The bass is controlled from the remote and the sound is more than enough to add to the experience; it wont rattle the walls but amount of bass that comes out of this soundbar is impressive! Overall, the ease of use, setup and audio quality makes me really love this soundbar!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A game changer ​The JBL Bar 300MK2 is just brilliant. Honestly, getting it set up was so quick and simple, zero faff, just plug it in and you're good to go. The sound quality is properly ace. I was a bit skeptical about getting surround sound without separate speakers, but the MultiBeam tech is fantastic; it genuinely fills the living room and makes movies feel much more exciting. Dialogue on TV is crystal clear, which is essential, and when I stream music, the bass is nice and punchy. Plus, it looks so sleek and smart under the telly, so there’s no messy wire clutter. If you want a significant audio upgrade without the fuss, this is the one.

Something that would be louder than the stock speakers on my tv would’ve sufficed. But I was so surprised at the level of quality, crispness and punch that this thing packs. I have mine set up in a roughly 12”x10” room. The power it packs (450w max output) is definitely felt. The Dolby atoms gave one of the best 3D audio experiences I’ve heard from a soundbar. This truly blew me away because I usually expect this level of audio from a more expensive, theater level system. Highly recommend the JBL bar 300MK2 for your tv set ups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install and sounds good! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice little soundbar. One piece, all contained, with remote - "plug and play". It easily plugged into my smart TV and immediately connected. Almost didn't need instructions. Super easy. It is very basic, the sound is well balanced. I've used it for music and tv/movie listening. I'm using it in my master bedroom which is about 200 SF and it's just perfect. I can turn up the music and hear it adequately pretty much everywhere in my 2000 sf home. (It also connected to my tv remote so don't really need the remote that came with it.) Came well packed and not damaged. As a very low tech person I appreciate the ease of installation and operation!!

It gives you an immersive surround sound, exceptional bass even without a separate subwoofer. The sound is balanced and crisp which makes the movie viewing experience a treat. The JBL One App makes life easier to have custom sound setting, is you are an audiophile like me. The MK2 supports a wide range of connectivity options apart from bluetooth like Google Home, Apple Airplay, SmartThings and RoomReady. I was fun to play popular audio formats like Dolby Atmos and enjoy the movie experience. I would definately recommend MK2 if you are looking for a high quality, well built soundbar to elevate your audio experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Superb Rich Sounds If it wasn't for the fact that this wasn't super compatible with our LG TV it would have been 5 stars easily. Super rich sound, great bass and volume range was quality. The remote enabled easy connection to a range of products and this was seamless. Its a largee unit than our current Samsung soundbar but its also sleek & the illuminated display was great. The finger sensitive volume controls on top were super and easy to use and overall its very easy friendly. For a soundbar of this price its a super choice and the range of sound it offers its fantastic.

This system shakes the sofa, rattles the windows, and you can feel it through the floor, even when I’ve only got it set to about a quarter volume.Setup couldn’t be easier. Apart from the bar-to-TV connection, there are no messy wires. The soundbar itself does the heavy lifting, pumping out Dolby Atmos and creating a full surround effect that still blows my mind.clearly designed with movie lovers in mind, I was hoping for something that could truly compete with my old Sony setup. And wow… it absolutely delivers.

Can I add a sub and satellite speakers with this soundbar in the future? Or do I have to purchase a soundbar system that includes the additional speakers?

Thanks for your question. An immersive audio setup is possible with the JBL Bar 300 Mk2 if you add two JBL Charge 5 Wi-Fi speakers as surround speakers and one JBL Boombox 3 Wi-Fi as a subwoofer using the JBL One app. Otherwise, we recommend the JBL Bar 700 (5.1 channel) or the JBL Bar 700 Mk2 (7.1 channel). Both of these units include detachable surround speakers and a subwoofer.

Does this soundbar use HDMI 2.1, the latest generation of HDMI? Does this soundbar support HDMI passthrough? If so, at what refresh rate does it allow a 4K signal to pass through?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Bar 300MK2 supports HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.3. It also allows 4K passthrough at 60Hz and supports HDR formats including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
