So take a moment right before setting this up to sit down and listen to the start-up of a decent film and listen to the current sound, even if you have a pretty decent TV, you're going to notice the difference. IT take sminutes to setup as it's litterally plug and play and the difference it makes is apparent immediatly. not waiting around just cinematic quality sound immediatly. It does have it's own app which is the best way to adjust the sound to suit you, and i scroll through the different sounds all the tiume now dependant on what i'm watching. Everything is wireless too, so no cables all over the place...an easy win win for LG again.

I bought the soundbar for my LG TV and it works perfectly. The sound quality is truly excellent, with deep bass and very clear dialogue. The design is outstanding; it's a real showpiece. It works perfectly with my LG QNED 75. You control everything with the TV remote. Bluetooth works without any issues. The volume is really loud for a room of about 30 square meters. Even halfway up the scale, it provides a great listening experience. The difference between the soundbar and the TV's built-in speakers is like night and day. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

The LG SG10TY setup was very easy including the mounting kit and provided instruction sheets. Things I like: - Great sound stage. The physical size of both LG soundbar and subwoofer are bigger. - Sound is fairly neutral and appreciated. - Wall mounting kit is easy to install - Menu is fairly intuitive to use Things I did not like: - Remote controller is oddly shaped and unnecessarily large. It uses 2xAA batteries. - Limited to wall mount setup Excellent soundbar system for what you pay for. No drama. 4.5/5

I recently bought a new 75 inch TV and was satisfied with the internal speaker. I wanted to try the LG Sound bar because of the sleek and sexy look. Coming out the box it was light and made me anxious to set it up. Had a few issues trying to set it up with the HDMI because my TV is already mounted and I wasn't able to find the correct port. When I tried to connect via the blue tooth, it easily connected. The sound enhanced the entire TV experience and makes me more excited about my TV. I also tried it with music from my phone, the Bluetooth between devices is seamless and it sounds amazing!

I was ready for something more, and I definitely got something more!!! I got the LG SG10TY. The sound bar with its thin, sleek look definitely gave me more than I expected. With incredible depth, clarity, and rich sound, incorporated with the powerful deep bass from the subwoofer took my hearing for a ride!!! The install and setup was as easy as it gets. This soundbar I can say made all the difference in the world with sound quality compared to normal tv speakers. Definitely a recommended product.

I am unable to connect the SG10TY to the LG Thinq app. I get to the part where it asks to turn volume down and it just keeps searching even though the soundbar pops right up when I say connect new device. Can you assist?

We understand it can feel a bit inconvenient when the LG SG10TY Soundbar doesn’t connect right away to the LG ThinQ app. Please try this step: unplug the soundbar for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Next, press and hold the Bluetooth/Pairing button on the remote for 5 seconds until the LED flashes, then restart the LG ThinQ app and reconnect. Also, ensure your phone’s Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi are both enabled during setup for the best experience. I see older model has speaker stands to avoid wall mounting. Are there stands that would be compatible with these speakers? Also, is the sub location recommended in front of you or behind you?

Hello. The SG10TY LG Soundbar for TV with Dolby Atmos® 3.1 channel, does not have rear speakers that require speaker stands, but you can add rear surround sound with optional LG SPT8-S 2.0 Ch. Wireless Rear Surround Speakers. We do not make speaker stands for the rear speakers, but you can use their width of 3.9" and depth of 3.9" to find suitable speaker stands online from sites like Amazon or from electronic consumer retail stores like Best Buy that will accommodate the speakers...^Ivan.

Is this soundbar (SG10TY) only for wall mounting, not for use with the TV (65" G4 OLED) on its stand?

Hey there! Excellent question. While the SG10TY Soundbar can be placed flat on a table, this goes against its design, as the speakers directly face the user when wall-mounted instead. We recommend wall mounting the soundbar above your TV or mounting your 65" LG G4 and the SG10TY, as shown on our page. If you're interested in wall mounting your 65" LG G4, we recommend using the OLW480B wall mount from our page at https://www.lg.com/us/tv-home-theater-accessories/lg-olw480b-wall-mount.
