Perfect soundbar for my LG OLED
The soundbar and wireless subwoofer were extremely easy to set up , It was out of the box and up and running in less than 5 mins. The sound from the soundbar is perfect for watching films on the LG TV . The bass is very tight without being too much and the up firing centre speaker delivers perfect dialogue that makes it sound like it's coming from the centre of the tv. overall it is a perfect partner to go with the LG tv. My only small niggle is that when listing to music using another input the sound can sound a little compressed , the tweeters could be a little more sharper but I am sure I can find out how to tweet them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blown away when I plugged the sound bar into my TV and turned it on. I never realized how tinny the sounds from my TV speakers were. The sound from the soundbar filled the room very nicely. The speaker that shoots upwards really helps with this. When listening to music, the sound was incredible. The bass speaker filled out the sound with a nice deep bass. You don't have rear speakers with this setup, but you don't miss them in my apartment. My only complaint is that the instructions could have been better, but I figured it all out. It didn't take long to get everything set up and start enjoying the great sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the honor of reviewing the LG S70TY sound bar. This sound bar was the first one I ever owned it was super simpe to set up and get going. Its impressive how much sound it puts out. Also how clear the voices are when on certain modes. The subwoofer can really thump when you want it to. But it's very quiet if you want to hear voices when watching the news. Movies and music sound so good! And sporting events is so clear you can hear people talking in the crowd as if you are in the stands. I would highly suggest this sound bar to anyone and everyone!

Average Soundbar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hooked this LG soundbar up to an older LG tv in hopes that it would make me an LG person. I didn't like the sound of the TV by itself so I had high hopes for the soundbar. I found that the bass blast had the best sound for me. The AI sound pro setting also sounded fairly good too. The clear voice option did make the voices sound louder. In my opinion there wasn't much difference in the rest of the sound options. I did try adjusting the sound settings for a fine tuning but I couldn't hear any difference. I honestly didn't care for the soundbar because it did sound tinny to me even after settling on bass blast for the tone that I liked the best.

My New Toys

It packs a powerful sound and Dolby Atmos. The setup was quick and easy out of the box. We were watching movies within half an hour. Calibration was a breeze through the app once we were able to sinc via Bluetooth. The included wireless subwoofer is a nice size and packs a good punch. The soundbar delivers a good 3.1-channel audio despite the slim design. This a great product I give 5 stars.

Great sound bar for in home entertainment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I start with this that I strongly recommend this sound bar if anyone is looking for a sound bar in budget and still no compromise on quality and sound.
I am using it from past few weeks and it is great in every aspect.
I still have to mount it on wall and get wires hidden but still it is giving great sound on carpet floor as well.
It's not too heavy but still it sturdy and well made .
Remote is well functional with minimal buttons .
In nutshell, I am planning to buy it for my another TV as well and make it a complete system.

I know that LG TVs have some of the best TV speakers, but adding this soundbar has changed the experience for me. The richness of the audio now has me totally imerresd in my viewing experience.. I now hear the lower frequencies and the surround sound setting is on the next level. The soundbar came extremely well packaged and getting it setup was straight forward. For a mid priced soundbar it has exceeded all my expectations.

Only one issue
The soundbar functions as advertised. It is perfect for our 12x20 enclosed porch. Ours is paired with a 65” B4 series TV. The wow orchestra setting delivered surprising results. However, the machine screws that attach the bar to the wall mount were too small. You’ll need two metric size M4 0.7mm x 10mm machine screws to attach the bar to the wall mounts.

The buttons are simple and easy to use. The remote is spot on and easy to use. I love how the soundbar uses AI to detect the levels needed for the different medias. It is big but super easy to move around. The app allows use to change the bass settings and other things. This system is definitely tech beginner friendly. It really has a bigger than life sound quality and the volume can go theater loud. I'm glad it can also hook up with a hdmi and and optical cord. This is my first experience with LG and I'm super impressed.

Better than expected

I currently have it set up with my PC. Let me just say, the sound quality when gaming is absolutely superb!
The set up with my LG ultrawide gaming monitor was super simple right out of the box. I love that they include the brackets to hang it on the wall! Such a great option. Took about 5 mins for me to install the brackets and hang it above my monitor.
The remote comes in super handy since my monitor does not have one. Haha
I am definitely going to purchase the speakers that are sold separately to complete my gaming setup!
Oh I almost forgot, the subwoofer sounds freaking amazing! The bass does not disappoint!

Fill Your Room!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always known that to have the optimal experience it should be sound AND picture. Well, I had the picture but never realized what I was missing out on until I bought this sound bar. WOW does it fill the room. The sub is not overpowering but having it next to the couch has been really immersive.
The passthrough seems to give my TV some trouble with the ARC but I'm pretty sure it's a TV issue. Overall it beats having to run wire or manage multiple speakers. This fits my need to the T and I'm a fan!

Perfect Sim Racing Set!!!
The LG S70TR system is a replacement for another brand. The sound quality comparison is unmatched. All the nuances of the cars, wheels, engines, and surroundings are all captured. I have a third party spotting program connected and the voices are distinct and clear through all the other sounds. I prefer the open sound than headphones. You can only get proper immersion with open air speakers and this setup is spot on.

Not good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would not recommend, the speaker isn't that loud and it does not come with the Synergy Brackets as seen in the marleting photos. These aren't available to purchase leaving only option to screw into the wall. Also neighbours can easily connect to them and play direct with no security or code needed to connect. You cant even turn off remote connections to it.

Very easy setup (about 5 minutes) and great sound. Though there probably are many sound adjustments,we select the "AI" mode on our TV and let the TV decide what sound was the best . The sound is awesome and the wireless sub woofer works great with plenty of good bass when watching movies etc. The best part is that this system and the TV work with only one remote. Simplicity at its best!

Great atmos sound bar
I recently purchased a new lg tv and was blown away with the picture. As with most modern tvs the sound is usually lacking so decided to trust lg with upgrading the sound with this sound bar.
I have used the soundbar for varying things from music on my phone, gaming, films and general tv including football.
The set up was easy enough but I believe I had an advantage having read some tips stating to download the lg soundbar app to help with set up.
With the app you can control a huge array of things from choosing the input to customising the equaliser.
I love the fact that you can easily set the sound delay from the app to help match picture and sound which I've always had an issue with while using a variety of apps and devices.
The base from the sound bar is very good and I find that the sound is of great depth and quality. Voices are clear and music immersive. Films are incredible with the dolby atmos which I had never experienced before until now.
The subwoofer gives a great base as well and adds to the experiance.
I have had an issue with the auto on with the sound bar which is meant to come on with the tv and has been a bit hit and miss and doesn't always power the sound bar on when the tv is turned on.
I've also had an issue with the subwoofer giving out a sort of interference noise.
I am in contact with lg and am hoping to get the issue sorted

Really Powerful Sound

It was well packaged and easy to unbox and install. I have it connected to an LG TV that I use for my gaming PC, and three of my gaming consoles. I love the sound quality. The soundbar really makes my music, movies, and entertainment sound enhanced. It does a great job with surround sound and provides an elevated audio experience. The bass, treble, and mids really stand out. The bass speaker is really solid and hits hard.
I love good quality sound, it's one of my passions. I probably use the soundbar everyday and enjoy every moment of enhanced sound quality. The color also matches my other equipment.

Amazing sound quality

I purchased the sound bar and must admit that the sound is magnificent. The only problem I found is with a setting up. I also have an LGTV so I thought it would be very easy to set up. No it wasn’t. It must’ve took me a whole day to get it working and maybe still now, I’ve still not got it going properly, but I am very happy with it

The Set up was easy even though it included a HMDI cable, I used the Bluetooth and as my TV is an LG I know have the WOW Orchestra feature enabled which makes the sound even better, great and easy connection.
Love the sound, the power of the wireless subwoofer, just like at the movies, its set up in my bedroom so the sound is felt in the smaller room, from the sports to the movies I love it !!!
It has a sleek design so not bulky; the subwoofer can sit anywhere and it is big enough and powerful sound so would suit any room. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for great sound at a great price

Great soundbar with good sound

Decided to give a try with LG soundbar and that was it! Completely different experience, sound is very good, you can hear every instrument when listening even to complicated tracks with multiple players. Thanks to HDMI ARC it plays music from the TV and also turns on and off along with the TV. Sound quality makes watching movies like in the cinema.

got this with the new g4 oled small sound bar to others but don't let this foul you excellent sound very powerful
different shape to recent sound bars from lg which isnt a bad thing sits nicely below the g4 as lg have now done a stand that adjusts height ,

Surround sound

I can hear the television without having it loud! The quality and clarity of sound is crisp and clear! It’s an experience that makes watching television enjoyable! I can watch movies at home and have a high quality experience! It is definitely the best sound bar we have utilized in our home! It works great for the family television experience!

Amazing Soundbar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this Soundbar to go with my LG TV, the sound is fantastic and works brilliantly with my TV remote. Setup was really easy just plug and play no fiddling around with anything just use the two special HDMI points. Easy to mount to the wall with the bracket included. The subwoofer offers brilliant bass and enhances the sound quality. Best of all it looks sleek and tidy
Really impressed with this Soundbar it has elevated my listening experience

Amazing sound and easiest set up I've ever had
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this sound bar because I was keen to see how the LG sound and TV integrated, and wow, the orchestra feature is amazing. The ability to use the sound bar, TV speakers and the floor speaker is genius, and the best but is that is works seamlessly out of the box.
I've been using it for almost 2 weeks now on mixed content and sound the Standard setting works the best across the board. It's punchy, crisp and elevates the sound much more than you'd expect at this price point.
The set up is seamless, and I don't even need the remote. I use my LG C2 remote and don't even think about it. For anyone considering a mid range soundbar for an LG TV, look no further in 2024.

Perfect Dolby Atmos for Apartments
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great 5.1.1 Dolby Atmos soundbar, especially for apartments. Bass is not too low or high, and if you’re an LG TV owner select models take advantage of WOW with auto calibration.

Will the LG SPT9SL Active rear speakers work with the S70TY Soundbar? They were sold to me as LG SPT-8-S. I'll be using it with an 83" LG C5 OLED.

For your LG S70TY Soundbar, the officially supported rear speaker kit is the LG SPT8‑S Wireless Rear Surround Speakers. The SPT9SL model you mentioned is not listed on LG’s U.S. website and is not documented as compatible with the S70TY.

Can I purchase power cord for second rear speaker to avoid using wire speaker?

At this time, there is no separate power cord option to replace the wired connection — the rear speakers must remain connected to the module for proper operation.
As a quick step, ensure both rear speakers are securely connected to the wireless receiver, since that module provides the signal and power. Does the s70tr include the qned brackets bt5-2p .
Hi Kev, thanks for reaching out. The LG S70TR Soundbar does not include the QNED Synergy Bracket BT5‑2P in the box. The bracket is a separate accessory designed specifically to mount compatible LG soundbars beneath LG QNED TVs, and it must be purchased separately.

Wil my lg ua7100 series remote control this soundbar system

I have the LG S70TY soundbar connected to my LG 55LS4500 TV and Roku in this way: the Roku HDMI OUT connected to the S70TY HDMI IN; and the HDMI > TV (ARC) on the S70TY to the HDMI IN on the TV. All works fine but the S70TY cuts out after a while.
The audio cutting out or dropping out intermittently with your setup, is probably due to the HDMI ports on the LG 55" Class Full HD 1080p LED LCD TV (54.6" DIAGONAL), Model # 55LS4500, that do not support HDMI ARC functionality.
HDMI ARC is designed to send audio signals back to an audio device, such as a soundbar or home theater system, over an HDMI connection. If the TV and audio device do not support HDMI ARC, the audio may not be transmitted correctly, leading to potential audio glitches. It is essential to ensure that both devices support HDMI ARC to avoid any issues with audio quality or functionality...^Ivan.

Hello, is there a way i can purchase the LG SPT8-S 2.0 Ch. Wireless Rear Surround Speakers to add to my S70TY soundbar? I cant find these speakers anywhere.

My subwoofer won’t pair. I just get a flashing light on the subwoofer
Hi there, thank you for reaching out! If your S70TY LG Soundbar subwoofer is showing a flashing light, it means it isn’t paired yet. Please try this step: unplug both the soundbar and subwoofer for 30 seconds, then plug them back in. If the subwoofer doesn’t connect automatically, press and hold the Pairing button on the back of the subwoofer until the LED blinks rapidly, then press and hold the Mute button on the soundbar remote for 3 seconds. The light should turn solid green once paired.
