Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear and noticeable upgrade over TV speakers. We purchased this soundbar along with a C5 TV. At first we didn't install the soundbar because we were satisfied with the TV speakers. However on a whim, I decided to connect the soundbar and I was instantly impressed. The sound was much clearer. You could make out details more frequently and the subwoofer provided enough bass without overtaking the rest of the audio. We're happy we decided to purchase and install.

I am immediately blown away by the stunning picture and it truly feels like a home cinema. This TV does require a soundbar, it’s incredibly thin so you need to add a soundbar if you want a complete viewing experience but the picture quality is flawless. I am impressed with the voice control so you can switch apps just by speaking into the Magic Remote. The AI Sound hasn’t worked for me, sound is worse with this mode but the AI Picture setting really does adjust to lighting conditions to provide a great experience. Would highly recommend.

Despite not taking advantage of exclusive LG features, it has transformed my sound experience. Pretty easy to setup, and have had no trouble since setting it up. But when I did set it up I was unsure whether or not the hdmi pass through in the soundbar itself can send video signals at 4k 120hz, so I can use it for my ps5. This spec was unclear and at first I was only getting 1080p 120hz. I got around this issue by plugging the ps5 to another hdmi and using earc to get audio from the soundbar. Overall, it sounds great, but this spec was not clear enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great soundbar except for... Amazing soundbar, good bass, great music quality and enough speakers for a basic "surround system". I would have given it 5*, however anyone can simply pair their mobile to the soundbar via Bluetooth. That means if you are in a block of flats or have nosey neighbours then any of them can access freely your soundbar, activate it or turn it off, put their own music, etc... This is very serious and unfortunately, there is no option to turn off the soundbar's Bluetooth... Fortunately, no one has tried to access my soundbar, but I have read many horrible stories on the Internet... LG seriously needs to fix this issue.

Within 15 minutes from opening the box the wireless Soundbar and wouffer were installed and working I was even able to link it to my phone too. We watched a movie in Cinematic mode and son came from his room and asked why was the house shaking and I pointed to the newly installed speakers and he just smiled and asked that maybe turn it down a little. After using it this weekend I am very pleased with this product as I felt like I was actually in the theater watching the movie and that is all yiu can ask.

The bracket is a separate accessory designed specifically to mount compatible LG soundbars beneath LG QNED TVs, and it must be purchased separately. I have the LG S70TY soundbar connected to my LG 55LS4500 TV and Roku in this way: the Roku HDMI OUT connected to the S70TY HDMI IN; and the HDMI > TV (ARC) on the S70TY to the HDMI IN on the TV. All works fine but the S70TY cuts out after a while.

The audio cutting out or dropping out intermittently with your setup, is probably due to the HDMI ports on the LG 55" Class Full HD 1080p LED LCD TV (54.6" DIAGONAL), Model # 55LS4500, that do not support HDMI ARC functionality. HDMI ARC is designed to send audio signals back to an audio device, such as a soundbar or home theater system, over an HDMI connection. If the TV and audio device do not support HDMI ARC, the audio may not be transmitted correctly, leading to potential audio glitches. It is essential to ensure that both devices support HDMI ARC to avoid any issues with audio quality or functionality...^Ivan.

My subwoofer won’t pair. I just get a flashing light on the subwoofer

Hi there, thank you for reaching out! If your S70TY LG Soundbar subwoofer is showing a flashing light, it means it isn’t paired yet. Please try this step: unplug both the soundbar and subwoofer for 30 seconds, then plug them back in. If the subwoofer doesn’t connect automatically, press and hold the Pairing button on the back of the subwoofer until the LED blinks rapidly, then press and hold the Mute button on the soundbar remote for 3 seconds. The light should turn solid green once paired. Is there a manual or video for S70TR soundbar system?  Have it connected to 83 “ G4.  Seems difficult to adjust individual speaker settings & treble, bass etc.
