Awesome soundbar!
Fantastic sound and easy set up no issues like others have claimed and the lack of wall mounting option is not an issue for me, handles my war movies video games StarWars and StarTrek perfectly I was using an LG S60T but I gave that too my mom "she's hard of hearing and uses hearing aids" she loves it so I use her LG S40T and honestly it's the best 2.1 soundbar I've ever used you will hear audio cues in video games VFX in movies and subtle sounds in Sci fi shows and films you never knew were there.. and it packs enough punch for music too! Sound is so clear and has excellent right and left speaker sound separation highly recommend these products!

Nice soundbar
Hooked up my new S40TR a few days ago. Wow,what an improvement over my LG SN7R soundbar! Super easy to setup with our LG TV. Subwoofer and rear speakers paired right away. For the price,you can't beat this soundbar. If you are looking for an upgrade and don't want to spend a ton of money, I'd recommend giving this one a try.

I love the fact you can change the sound effect to what you are watching, currently watching Wimbledon in the sport sound and it feels like you’re actually there. I connected it all through Bluetooth. I played music through it earlier and love the acoustics of it. The design is sleek and stylish and fits really well with our LG television. I have never had a soundbar but my son has and he is very jealous of ours now. I would definitely recommend this item, very impressed and great value for money.

Sleek, Smart and Amazing Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to upgrading your soundbar i 100% recommend the LG US40T, this sleek wireless soundbar is a great addition to my entertainment experience, Ive always had a soundbar connected to the TV, the previous soundbar had wires and was 10 years old.
The LG soundbar is easy to use and connected via HDMI or Optical cable, it has Bluetooth functionality where i can connect it to my Spotify and play music with ease.
The Bluetooth doesnt connect to my phone automatically, i have to go into my bluetooth settings and connect manually, but overall that's just an inconvenience not a deal breaker.

What is the size of the tiny screws in the bottom of the sound bar.? It says m4 but not even M3 fits. Tried all of them to attach it to the tv and it has been a nightmare. It looks lile they are unique to LG. Asking before I return it.

Can you use your smart phone as a remote for the soundbar with the lg app?

I ordered this, for the price, before I made a final LG tv selection. I ordered an LG c5. Excited for that in a couple weeks. Will this sound bar work with my 2025 c5?

Does the sound bar mount to the TV.
The S40T LG Soundbar for TV with Dolby Audio™ 2.1 channel, does not come with a special bracket that allows you to mount it directly on an LG TV, nor do we have a compatible bracket for it that allows you to mount it directly on our TVs...^Ivan.

Does the subwoofer turns off after a while or do I have to disconnect it everytime?
Hi Andrew, We appreciate you reaching out. The LG S40T Soundbar with Dolby Audio™ 2.1 channel subwoofer is designed to remain paired and active when the soundbar is powered on. It will automatically enter standby mode after a period of inactivity, so you do not need to disconnect it each time.
Tip: Make sure the soundbar and subwoofer are placed within range and powered correctly to maintain a stable wireless connection.
