Amazing sound quality, sleek clean look

I love how it can connect to my phone and you can change the sound quality and able to configure the sound with the size of the room all from the app. It sounds amazing but I do think I would like to add to speakers to make the surround sound top notch. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for the hard of hearing and older people, the sounds are so crisp and clear with a great bass when needed. Hearing sounds from TV that we never knew that were there. I haven’t had to buy a soundbar in well over 10 years, so making a purchase was a huge deal. This particular soundbar appeared at a great price so we finally dived in and I haven’t been disappointed. Pairing with the TV was very easy using HDMI eArc, and with a few adjustments on my devices I was ready to go with a new world of Dolby Armos sound! All the audio sounds great , but the Dolby Atmos content really shines. Aesthetically, it is a nice looking sound bar. It fits well on our shelf and the subwoofer is nice and slim. Fits my tv and fits seamlessly into the stand recess at the bottom of the TV to help hide all the wires.

Excellent TV and Soundbar system working in unison
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG - 83" Class C3 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV about 3 weeks ago and added the LG - Soundbar C with Wireless Subwoofer, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X & IMAX Enhanced to build a balanced and matched system. There was one problem with this idea. Unless you dig down into the Specs for the Soundbar you won't find out that it cannot be attached to the TV because the included stand and adapter does not fit on the 83" TV even though it states - for all C TVs! So instead of having the Soundbar attached directly to the TV it was placed in front of it.
Anyway, the system sounded great because it created a system where the TV speakers and Soundbar speakers worked in unison to produce great sound to go with the fantastic picture. Previously the TV speakers were turned off and only the Soundbar system produced the sound.

Fantastic

Using it with G5 oled and in wow orchestra mode it's incredible. Good base, one of the clearest dialogues ever heard and very good scene positioning.
Code screen made of LEDs isn't for everyone but in my case it works great as I don't like flashy screens interrupting viewing.

Good sound
Since it doesn't have rear speakers, it's hard to get true surround sound (though I didn't try to play lossless e.g. Dolby Atmos TrueHD or DTS:HD).
But the movies I tried e.g. Blaze Runner 2049 in Cinema mode and playing some music in Music or Bass Blast mode impressed me.
If you have LG Oled and want just soundbar with sub woofer without rear speakers, you shouldn't be disappointed

Wow Bracket doesn’t fit the 48 inch model.

So my next tv yes it will an LG as you make great TV’s. It’s going to be a 55 inch. C Series now I have the soundbar I wanted but then I get to use the wow bracket.

Seems to work well
We purchased this sound bar because it was supposed to be the best one to match with our new LG OLED TV. We are new to streaming services and are still learning some of the ins and outs. For some reason, sound just disappears randomly when watching TV. We have not isolated the sound disappearance to the internet, TV, Streaming device of the Sound Bar.

Limitations of the USC9S soundbar
Easy to install and nice stand. Stereo effect not very good. Wanted to add the LG rear wi-fi speakers at later date to improve surround sound but exremely disappointed to learn that this addition is now discontinued (for a current soundbar). Is it possible to add other LG rear speakers? All a bit annoying as our 55 inch Oled tv has a brilliant picture.

Dreadful connectivity
To try and connect anything to this soundbar the whole tv stand assembly has to be taken apart. Really dumb idea to have it all screwed together.
Still trying to understand the remote control linkage between the tv and the soundbar.
Do not buy this product if you need to connect to a hearing aid tv streamer because the optical out doesn't exist.

The sound is very clear and crisp and the bass and treble it generates it noteworthy. I can be connected via Bluetooth or WiFi with different devices which is a plus. I really like this soundbar, you can attach it to the tv and it sounds great, I would like to see if you can purchase rear speakers, that would finish it off nicely. There are plenty of connection choices and can be linked to other bluetooth /WiFi devices, I've got mine connected to Alexa in every room. I would definitely recommend.

Got the USC9S soundbar for free when purchased lg oled65g46ls TV. Definitely a big improvement on the TV speakers and sub adds booming bass. Great depth to sound with films in Dolby Atmos. Overall, happy with performance as soundbar was free but not so sure I would want to pay the full retail price for this unit

Excellent technology less good support literature
Excellent sound upgrade, the sound bar integrates perfectly with our LG TV. We like the way the stand simoly replaces the current stand, making the tv and soundbar "one". It looks great.
The sound is very good as well, with the preset settings quickly adjustable through the tv remote.
The only real criticism is the literature (rather the lack of it) that goes with the soundbar. In terms of getting the best from this super bit of kit, we have found it difficult to know how to adjust the sound settings, or even work out if there ARE adjustable settings beyond the pre-sets. Can we fine tune the sound for our room, or adjust the individual speakers to our own preferences? We THINK we probably can, but its all a bit of a mystery when trying to find out HOW!
Maybe we are being a bit daft but we know are not fools. The lack of clear and accessible signposts, and well written literature does not encourage the user to explore the obvious potential of this excellent piece of technology.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly never realised how much I needed this sound bar system until now. The sound and bass is so impressive and sound clear; the television speaker was amazing in my opinion but the sound bar system has completely changed everything.
I have a TV that is compatible with this sound bar system and I absolutely love the fact that you can connect it directly to the bottom of your TV easily and securely. This is great for space saving and also saves you from having to fit a shelf to your wall if you don't already have one.
The Subwoofer isn't huge which is ideal but do not let it's size fool you. The bass is extraordinary!
Overall I am completely inlove with this purchase not only for the sound and it's elegant look but for it's ease of use. The connects to the TV through either optical or hdmi and the Subwoofer connects directly to the sound bar (wireless). You can alter the sound you want for example cinema, music through the TV.

Great and easy unit to setup and get working. Have paired this with a C3 tv and after a bit of tweaking with the centres to improve the speech it has been awsome. game settings are good, cinema mode is great with current movies. AI sound was a bit strange and I would give it a miss.

For the money I expected much more, but the bar struggled to fill my 375sf family room. For all it's "AI calibration" it lacked punch for the price. I decided to save $ and instead went with the S70TR and it was far better sound in the room and paired perfectly with my 77 OLED C3.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is honestly one of the best sounding soundbars I've heard for music. Its mindblowing how good it sounds. I love watching music videos on YouTube and this really beats everything else I've ever heard. So why 4 stars? First... in my opinion the sound isn't great for TV/movie viewing. Especially after listening to the stellar music performance. It falls a bit flat to me. The TV I was intending to use this with is an LG OLED CX55, but it doesn't mount to the bottom of that TV. Only the C2/C3 Series (CX series excluded), so instead I paired this up with my 65" TV in my bedroom. It doesn't have wall mount brackets on the back because of the way it's designed, but it does have screws on the bottom (I'm assuming for a different kind of mount that goes under the soundbar). If you have a C2/C3 Series LG OLED, this seems like a no-brainer for instantly better sound. SIDE NOTE: The box is huge and heavy. I'm a strong 5'10" male, and I needed help getting it up my stairs.

Beware!!! SPQ80S Not Available
Although LG falsely claims the SPQ8-S speakers can be added as rear speakers they are not available anywhere. To my knowledge these are the only rear speakers compatible with this set so do not purchase these if you are looking for a surround sound system.

The sound bar works perfectly but I feel just with a sound bar the sound is a bit shallow, it needs to more speakers for the left and right that can come behind the setup for more immersion. The bass from the subwoofer is excellent on the other hand.

Average sound, full of bugs, keeps dropping it eARC connection, “Wow Orchestra” adds a terrible echo, I keep switching it off but it keeps getting switched. Extremely overpriced, very likely going disconnect it and make do with built in TV speakers.

I have an LG 42 inch C4 evo and want to use the sc9s soundbar on my tv. According to LG it's only compatible with the evo c4 55" and above. Why not the 42"? Is there an option for the evo c4 42"?

When I connect my device and step up for them to play at the same time it doesn’t work. My tv alone sounds louder than when intried to play them at the same time. How can indica this?

Is this soundbar’s stand compatible with the new C6H OLED TV?

Is there a way to determine what codec the soundbar is processing? On my AV receiver in my other room it displays the source codec, dolby digital, atmos, DTS, etc. so I always know if I am getting the best sound option.

Are the SPQ8-S the only rear speakers compatible with this sound bar? You have so many different speakers. Why don’t any of the others work? Can you give me any suggestions as to how to have surround sound?

Is a below TV mounting location recommended? I am thinking about mounting above the TV. I am curious on LG's opinion on impact of sound with the top mount.
