Great sound
After having 4, yes 4 panasonic bars that failed after about a week if use. The trouble was although they did sound great and had very good bass, after a week the bass tone would drop out and it would sound no better than the TV speakers. After finally speaking with someone who actually knew what they were saying we figured that entry level panasonic not worth the grief as the processor in them not that fantastic, now to the review for the polk. Was hesitant at first to invest again in a soundbar but after hearing it instore took the gamble, well pleased , great sound , easy setup via hdmi. The bass tone and sub deliver excellent sound and well balanced. The voice function is brilliant for my old ears, you simply select 1,2 or 3 and it enhances the diolgue without compromising the back sound, would definitely recommend as good value for money

A right dissapointment
We got this installed by a professional approx 1.5 years ago. Was perfect. Awesome sound. Now when we are watching tv the Bluetooth turns off but something on the screen pops up and says bluetooth connected but really it's disconnected . Every morning when we turn the TV on. We have to adjust the sound on the TV, sky and the speaker! So realistically we are stuck with a speaker that connects and disconnects. The volume goes up and down. The warrenty has run out so now we are stuck with a $600 dud

Bought this 2 years ago. Very loud soundbar. Excellent to make any tv sound good. Sometime its equivalent to more expensive units. Highly recommended. You wont be disappointed.

Thanks but this doesn't answer my question. I can play music but can't get rid of the images from Spotify that appear on my Tv. I want to play music without the TV screen being on.

Is it possible to play music via speakers without the TV screen activating. Given this to use with my Spotify.
Thanks for your question Raymond. Yes, you will be able to play music on the Soundbar. To enable Bluetooth , press the Bluetooth button on the sound bar or remote control. A blue LED will pulse on the sound bar. Go to the Bluetooth devices section on your phone, tablet or computer and select Polk Signa S2. The LED is solid blue when Bluetooth is connected.
