Looks as good as it sounds.
I’ve wanted a Bluetooth turntable for a little while now so I got the JBL Spinner BT. So far I like it a lot. The only things I would’ve done differently is maybe put the power switch and Bluetooth connect button in a more accessible location, not the back. Also, there’s no place to keep the little 45 adapter. I would have put a post or something on top to keep it from sliding around. I also would have made the tonearm up and down lever the lighter color of the anti skate adjust dial as it’s pretty hard to see when the lights are low. I’ve run it on Bluetooth and wired analog and I can’t tell the difference. In all I’ll say this is a great addition to my system. Nice work Jbl!

Good upgrade, but needs improvement!
I wanted to upgrade my old WiFi Spinner , for a more modern and sophisticated one, so I decided to have a go with JBL.
This JBL Spinner BT is very easy and simple to use, no problem assembling it.
Very beautiful and modern colours.
Very easy to pair with any portable speaker, but having to constantly pair it every time I plan to listen to a vinyl, is a bit annoying.
Best option is use the analog outputs,
problem solved.
Another thing that I dislike , is that the
tonearm doesn't retract after the vinyl ends.
For a Spinner with so good quality, having to manually retract the tonearm, is not much enjoyable.
Apart from those issues, it's a lovely Spinner !

Superb looking & performing turntable
This has replaced my older and somewhat cheaper turntable, and I didn't think there would be that much difference in quality, but oh I was sooooo wrong. Just looking at it, the whole thing just oozes quality and the build is just superb.
The setup of the tonearm is really straightforward and the fact that it is a balanced arm, is even more impressive, as this is something I would expect on a much higher end and more expensive device. This helps to achieve a smoother and less intrusive playback, and there we have the next point.
The separate cartridge that neatly slots onto the arm, also gives you the potential opportunity to use different cartridges.
As for the sound reproduction, I can honestly say that it is worlds apart from the previous turntable, and is rich and full but has the clarity in the high end frequencies that some tend to miss. The solid aluminium platter coupled with the damped feet and mdf plinth ensures that any vibrations are very effectively reduced.
The turntable speeds are controlled by a belt drive system locked with a speed monitor to ensure totally accurate speeds.
All in all a very worthwhile upgrade to my AV setup and one that does not disappoint

Turntable Spinner a pretty good success
I am quite impressed by the Spinner, the quality of the deck is a lot better than I expected. The bluetooth sounds truly far better than I expected of a turntable as I was most weary of the transfer from the needle to the speaker, but the quality and the amplification of the music is spot on and also somehow louder than running through my analog speakers. One of the reasons I wanted to get a bluetooth turntable was because of a company like JBL specifically thinking of bluetooth connectivity and sound while considering the rest of the turntable and what the needle will pick up to the speaker. It really does seem like a lot of consideration was done in this area. One thing I found funny with the bluetooth is that it continues to play through the analog port while connected to bluetooth and the delay between these two outputs is not so significant. Enough for me to hear but pretty close in timing. I also was worried about the quality of the needle provided cause I am used to using my Ortfon Red at this point but I have been impressed with how nice it sounds, I did order another cartridge that has more capabilities to upgrade. I think that is potentially the biggest miss, where the more expensive version of the JBL table comes with an Ortfon stylus this one comes with a Audio Technica stylus that doesn't have a lot of upgrade options. I think if you were considering those things the AT-VMN would've been a better choice for a path forward.
One of the biggest frustrations I had with this turntable was something many people probably wouldn't be worried about when getting it but I wanted a deck that was more automatic. The description of the features for this turntable are a little confusing and it says there is Auto Start / Stop. My assumption here was that it also included an Auto Return feature, for the tonearm to be put back in place after the record ended. That is not the case, the feature is for when the stylus is above the record the turntable starts spinning, then when it reaches the end of the record it stops. However, it doesn't stop so immediately, I have noticed it can be around 10+ clicks of the end of the record. For some that might be a major annoyance and I am not a big fan of it but I prefer it to nothing. I have never used a turntable with this kind of a feature so it was a bit of an adjustment for me and initially I wasn't even sure it was going to stop cause it took so long (or really what felt long at the time). But as I have continued to spin records on it I have found it not to be as much of a problem and I really do love this turntable in so many ways.
The final thing I'll say is one of the best things that has come from this new turntable for our household is I have been able to connect it to our JBL Extreme speaker and take my vinyl to the kitchen while I'm cleaning or cooking or to the porch while I'm relaxing. It is really a pretty wonderful and feature packed turntable for the money. I'm hoping my experience continues as such but for now I have only had it for about a week but it's been great and the family is having alot of fun with it.
To note I also have a Denon DP-300F and Uturn Orbit in the house, both with Ortfon Red stylus' and I love them as well but they don't have the features the Spinner does.

Great Quality and simple elegant design
The last time I used vinyl player it was almost 30 years ago. I always wanted one as an adult but never got round to it till my older children started to say that it would be so cool to have it.
I was so excited when I ordered JBL spinner. I liked the look and simplicity but the same time elegant design with black and gold which matching with my JBL authentic 300 speaker. It looks great together and gives a character to a room. I love that it has a Bluetooth connection and I can keep the speaker in a kitchen when cooking and listen to the music.
In my opinion the sound is great.
The only downside that vinyl is expensive but it gave me a new opportunity for a new passion to go to charity shops more often to look for authentic vinyl for the good price.

Just wow!
We have had a record player since 2017 and were on the lookout for a new one due to moving house and wanting one that took up less space, especially as we had very big speakers attached to the old one. A Bluetooth player was the solution as we can connect this to our soundbar, and the whole setup looks a lot neater. This one is perfect and it looks so stylish and plays records like a dream. It was well packaged when delivered and fairly easy to setup. We are really happy with it and have had lots of compliments on how lovely it looks too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new record player.

Stylish sound
The JBL Spinner is a user-friendly turntable with good sound and a great modern look. It is a solid option for both beginners and those looking to upgrade their vinyl listening experience.
I found the turntable easy to use, the set-up was simple, and easy to connect to my speakers. On the whole it delivers well-balanced audio, which I think is down to the Audio Technica cartridge and built-in phono preamp. Bluetooth connection was good, but I tend to use this in a wired configuration. The black and gold aesthetic looks great in my apartment. All in all, a great product.

Great product
I was kindly sent JBL Spinner by Review Club at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. I was a bit sceptical at first, given this is JBL’s first vinyl record player, however I am pleased to confirm that this is a high quality product. I got it to replace my son’s budget player and I can see a big difference in quality. The product is well-made and has a great, premium-looking finish. It was easy to set up - in fact my 13 year old son managed to assemble and connect the player himself i na no time. It was easy to connect via Bluetooth, but we now use it via wired connection with our 25-year old sound system which does not have Bluetooth.
The sound is great, the spinner plate is sturdy and big enough to fit a record (the previous one that we had was a lot smaller). This record player looks great on the shelf and it’s easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.
