Cool old school
Great little old school radio. Perfect for a grandparent pottering around in the shed who prefers the simpler technology.

Easy to use
Excellent little radio, good quality sound, easy to use. I bought this radio for someone with restricted use of their hands who had difficulty with small or stiff control knobs & dials. The controls on the Panasonic are easy for her to use. Great product.

PANASONIC 150mw Portable AM FM Small Radio
Very Handy, Small & Lightweight which i wanted. FM I most use but wanted the AM for ABC Radio broadcast in Civil Emergenvcy/Disasters etc. Most Digital Radios on the narket don't have this as far as I know. Please advise.

Quality portable battery powered radio.
We needed a portable AM radio for domestic use and in case DAB fails in emergency situations. I have a similar radio that is now 15 years old and it is used daily; so time for a new one! The Panasonic is a quality device. It is an analogue radio that is assisted by a digital tuning feature. I worked in a national radio station for over 12 years and this little radio is a quality device that meets all technical requirements. If you need a portable radio with similar features I would recommend the Panansonic RF-P50D.

Can these radios work in other countries, eg Nigeria?
Hi Nana, it could be used in another country if it supports local AM/FM frequencies (FM: 88-108 MHz / AM: 5.3-16 KHz). Since it runs on AA batteries, power won’t be an issue. However, signal strength may vary depending on location.

Does the head phone jack play into both ears?
Great question Alister. That's correct. It has a mini/mono broadcast and is primarily designed for pocket use. If you decide to connect headphones using the 3.5mm jack, it will only come through one side. Trust this helps!
