A great clock/alarm radio and value for money
I purchased this Clock Alarm radio last week and am very pleased with it. a) The clock display is perfect for a bedroom 3 levels of brightness b) It has 2 alarms which can be set for the radio to come on or for an alarm sound c) the sleep function could be set for different times up to a maximum of 120 minutes d) Up to 20 radio stations can be pre-set e) The sound quality of the radio is quite adequate given the price.
In my opinion this is very good value for money. There were some reviews that stated that the manual that came with the clock was difficult to follow. - something I agree with as it had only pictures which were not easy to understand. I thus went to the Philips web site provided on that document and downloaded a manual which had words with the pictures and that was quite easy to follow.

Great clock radio. Easy to set time, alarm times etc. Easy to navigate the buttons in the dark because of the bumps on the right-hand side button. Good feature that you can set the radio to run for an adjustable length of time - to go to sleep to. Nice feature that the alarm starts quiet and gets louder. Easy to snooze. Great screen dimming feature. This would be the perfect clock radio if only the lowest volume wasn't so LOUD. Volume setting "zero" is off. Volume setting "one" is LOUD in the quiet of night. Quite hard to drift off to sleep with such a LOUD NOISE.

The only issue we have with the clock radio is that the wake-up volume cannot be controlled and it gets uncomfortably loud.

Phillips clock radio
Clock is easy to set up, large numbers that can be dimmed. The only downside is the sound is a bit tinny. My last clock radio had excellent sound, but was nearly impossible to set times / alarms etc and would clear all the details every time the power went out (which is often). The Phillips has battery backup, so has stopped this issue. Would recommend purchase, just don’t expect excellent sound.

Great replacement for my old clock radio
Great device! Looks absolutely beautiful and does everything as per the description. I did not have any issues setting it up. Especially great is the alarm sound - it starts very quietly and then adds volume gradually. Totally happy with this purchase, and (BTW) it is a replacement for my very old (25 yo) device of similar purpose (also from Philips)

Everything great, but the lowest volume level you can adjust is far too high for a radio that may be used in a bedroom as a soft sound before falling asleep
