Amazing Sound
I bought this as a hifi system to use in my home office as I am now working from home. I have plugged in a streaming device into the toslink optic cable input, wow the sound is incredible, I stream flac files and hearing them in Hi Res audio is great. Bass is surprising deep for a set of small speakers. I knew when I bought it, this system sat as Panasonic's top line micro system but did not anticipate how dam good it would sound. I never write reviews on items I purchase, but this is amazing so I though it deserves recognition.

Great little HiFi.
Excellent sound quality, good treble, bass and mid range is very clear. No sound distortion at any volume setting. Really good build quality, even the connectors for the speakers are a really good quality screw connectors instead of the common spring connecters on small HiFi systems. The remote control feels like it is solid and not cheap crumby plastic. It says on the box that it is made in Malaysia, not China which probably explains the quality difference. I love my little HiFi. It connects to bluetooth, a PC, has an audio in and optical port etc. This was purchased as a radio for my gym / workshop, but it could also suit someone to use as speakers for a TV or Blueray player etc - I am not using it to it's full capability.

Simply superb
I bought this system to replace my very old component hifi system in the lounge room. I have had a low power Panasonic audio system in the home office for many years. So, I thought that having a more powerful system at the other end of the house would be a worthwhile purchase. I am impressed by the sound quality, that compares favourably with my high end Luxman system of the 1980s.

We were not disappointed…fabulous!

Amazing clear & crisp speakers that create superb Hi-Fidelity sound of yesterday with the quality components that can transfer the beauty of vinyl and still have compatibility with digital playbacks. We paired the system with a turntable and the flexibility of Bluetooth allowed us to use the turntable where the party was! The Panasonic mini system is obviously perfect for compact living whilst delivering big sound. I am not surprised that Panasonic is still leading the way in high quality music systems at affordable prices. Brilliant!

Great audio & easy set up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After an extensive reviewing process, I believed that this would be a great addition to my lounge TV/ blueray player & my Audio Technica turntable.
It is replacing a Samsung sound bar. I have just set it up & it has exceeded my expectations. Everything it said it could do, it is doing very easy & to a high quality output. The cherry on top was I bluetoothed my Audio Technica turntable in, very easy to do & listened to an original pressing vinyl from Depeche Mode. Wow, it is fantastic. Of course I have to play with the Audio settings, but straight out of the box, I am impressed. Thank you PPanasonic.

Impressive power and exceptional clarity.
This thing puts out incredible power while only sucking down a tiny amount of power at the wall and it does it without even a hint of distorting, I have it powering some 7 inch (6 ohm) bookshelves in series (not parallel) with the included speakers and it just blows me away with the clarity and punch at high volumes, with digital sources I would recommend trying the D.bass and Surround modes to expand the sound stage they track perfectly at all volumes and complement each other, I wouldn't mess with the equalizer because it kind of works differently at different volumes and its a bandaid for bad speakers, the little three ways Panasonic includes bring out all the details, just amazing. The real zinger for me is the 192khz/24-bit USB DAC/sound you plug direct into your Mac or PC, by passing analog completely, it does make a difference, I have a high end sound card and flip back and forth from AUX to PC input and the little DAC blows it away, the only criticism I have is the volume on the remote should be more prominent otherwise great job to Panasonic, very happy with this unit.

The first attribute is that the audio is superb with classical music. Speaker leads are approx 1 metre. There is rca, 3.5mm,optical lpcm, pc B usb inputs. No noise on 3.5mm headphone line. Quiet. Modern F connector for fm or dab (Europe 175-239 Mhz ). Weight 2.8kg. Woofer 14cm cone, 1.9cm Tweeter, 1.5cm super Tweeter. Impedance 3 ohm. Surround mode. Vol 13 is ample loud for bedroom.

Can you add a wireless Bluetooth speaker to this one?
Thanks for your question Darryn. While this does have Bluetooth functionality, it is capable of receiving transmissions from a compatible Bluetooth source device only, and cannot broadcast to an external speaker. Trust this helps! ^CO

Does the Aux connection mean I can attach my Hitachi turntable? It has the two RCA cables - one white and one red
