Rated 3 out of 5 by from They ok. Nothing special above others. The sound is very good for my apartment. They look nice and connect fast. Connecting to my Spotify is easy as well. However, they're definitely not cheap for just speakers. If they weren't on sale, I'd never get them. I place one in my bedroom and one in my kitchen. I've only had them one week but they've disconnected several times and had to be setup again. The voice control doesn't do the things Sonos says it does and it won't sign into Alexa not matter what. And help online is never available. If I continue to get errors and can't fix these faults, I'll consider taking them back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sounds great but difficult to control I stream music from my computer. The sound quality is excellent but the unit is difficult to control. There is no off button so the only way to stop it playing is to stop the stream on my computer. The play/pause button on both the unit and the app does nothing. If I press 'end session' on the app, after a few minutes it starts playing again. If 'disconnect when idle' is on, it disconnects regardless of whether I'm currently streaming to it or not. The app is also difficult to use - the volume control and end session buttons are difficult to find and there are multiple screens of app preferences, system preferences, and product preferences.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sonos treats customers with contempt Hey Sonos, you continue to treat your customers with contempt. The latest app update has completely removed the alarm function. So now I have speakers where I cannot change the alarm, so they will wake me up on my days off. Shockingly poor The below text is from the Sonos website! Sonos app version 80.0 This feature is not currently available in the Sonos app for iOS or Android, but it will return in a future update.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Era 100 review I have beam gen2 with sub mini, brought two Era 100's to add onto my system, Sonos is super easy to set up and very user friendly. My only problem is when grouping all speakers I could not resolve audio latency to the Era 100's after trying every solution possible. But when setting the Era 100's as surround speakers against the beam they work perfectly with no latency. The Era 100's perform excellent as surrounds but unfortunately lose some performance compared to grouping them as separate speakers. Hopefully a future update may resolve this. Overall music sound is excellent and home theater sound is next level when watching Dolby Atmos content.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Connectivity issues The speaker itself is great and the quality of sound is great. However I have very frequent connection issues while I am connected to the same wifi network even after a factory reset. I log into the app to control and choose the music and it says not connected. It’s very touch and go as to whether it will connect to the app, around 20% of the time it will connect right away. It has been very frustrating having to open and close the app multiple times, wait for it to load, turn the speaker on and off to make it discoverable. I’m not sure if I have a faulty speaker and may try to return and exchange for a new one to see if it resolves the issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would recommend not buying this product! Technical support is from a call center in Mexico. The support specialists are not well-versed in the ERA 100. The speaker is INCOMPATIBLE with many WiFi routers. The Bluetooth has to be REPROGRAMMED every time you want to change an input device. There is a noticeable sync problem if you want to use this speaker when viewing films. The speaker is DESIGNED to get the user to BUY music services from SONOS! And you have to REGISTER with SONOS just to set the product up! Some might call this a high-tech product, I would call it a consumer scam product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good Speakers terrible app. I spent 4 hours trying to add surround sound to existing Sonos sound bar and mini sub. The updated app is a failure, I ended up returning to merchant. I will not purchase any Sonos speakers until the app's problems are corrected. I'm not the only one experiencing these problems, check out Sono's Facebook page there are hundreds of complaints directed to the new app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sounds great, really helpful for surround sound speakers These Era 100s are a great part of a home theatre set up. I have the Beam and Sub as well. This was a breeze to set up with the app. It automatically recognized the speakers, hooked them up, tested and integrated them as a part of the system. It did a little sound check where I waved my phone around the room and boom - up and running. We've used them so far for a tv show and several basketball games and its super fun. While watching basketball you get to hear the crowd chants and ambient sound behind you, and the announcers in front of you. I thought it would only be good for movies, but it was an awesome sports experience as well.
