Looks Great, Easy to Use
I've had this for three weeks. Haven't used all the functions yet, but loving it so far. Bought it to replace an oven with separate grill of the same dimensions. Particularly chose this one for the extra features of the smaller oven - can still use it as a grill, but can also use it as a small oven etc. for extra cooking/baking space, or cooking at different temperatures at the same time.
Ovens heat up to temperature much quicker than my old oven, and it's quieter!
The only thing I'm not overly impressed with is the curved-up lip at the front of the oven shelves. Makes it slightly harder to slide trays/dishes in and out, but I'm sure we'll get used to it.

Great features, especialythe small oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had another brand over the years, however when i moved into a unit there was a westinghouse oven.I found it fine but estimated the oven was about 10yrs old. So I decided it was time to update An excellent feature was the measurments were exactly the same so the oven fitted perfectly ,no need for a tradesman. I love tthe small lower oven as it enables me to cook for one without using the main oven or heat the plates when I have the family and main oven.is in use.The oven came well recommended and i am very happy with it The oven glass door is amazing to clean no heavy lifting.Regards Patricia Probert

Love this oven!
We brought this oven to replace a gas one that was getting quite dated.
I’ve found it cooks evenly everytime. Biscuits are perfect, I made the most amazing carrot cake in it that rose really evenly. My husband cooks lots of chicken in it and everytime it turns out beautifully with crispy skin and moist inside. We weren’t sure that we needed the second small oven at the bottom but it has been great. I’ve used it as an extra space to do big bake ups for back to school and my daughter (8) loves the independence of being able to cook something in there herself as she cannot yet safely reach into the full size oven.

Stupid design on oven shelves
Bought this oven a few months ago and the wire shelves have an upturned lip at the front which makes it hard to get baking trays out of oven especially if flat for baking biscuits etc. We have all burnt ourselves at some stage taking things out of oven. I have tried many times to change how I take things out of oven. Tried to buy flat shelves through Westinghouse but apparently they're not compatible with my appliance. Would definitely not have bought this oven if I knew back then what I know now. Will not be buying anything like this ever again. Have no idea why they'd be designed like this.

Love my double oven!
We bought this oven about 2 months ago when our oven blew its thermostat. We had previously had an oven with a seperate grill sectiona dnwanted that again. This oven has that and more! The second smaller oven is not just a grill but a full blown oven - so if you only had a tray of chips to cook I use the smaller oven as I don't need to heat up the big oven. It means we can cook many different dishes at the same time as we can seperate them. I love the many cooking options for both ovens and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have cooked lot's of recipes & made lot's of dessert's I would not have attempted previously. Even my Girls want to cook heaps now.

a bit disappointing
Happy that I bought this as it was Australian made BUT
- oven trays provided seem to warp when heated (customer service had provided us with new trays so we will see if that makes a difference)
- element on bottom oven is bent thus one needs to be careful when putting things in this bottom oven
- both ovens push out warm air when turned on - we weren't informed of this and its a bit annoying
- when sliding trays in and out of bottom oven they seem to get stuck although this could be an installation issue

Works but has draw backs
Overall the oven functions reasonably well, however there are two aspects which we really don't like. (1) It heats / cooks very unevenly so food on the outer edge of the tray burns whilst in the middle it doesn't and takes longer to cook. (2) The oven releases a blast of hot air from the top of the oven door. We thought this was a fault and raised it but were told it supposed to happen. I've used many ovens and not one has ever done this. Overall not that happy with the product.

I note the sizes of the stove. Does this mean the wall cavity size will need to be just a few mm larger all around? Is there any trim supplied to cover such a gap between the cavity size and the stove size?

It's designed to fit inside a standard space about 600mm wide with a full width recess at the bottom about 20mm high for ventilation, and a cabinet depth of at least 581mm for flush install, or at least 560mm for proud install. Check page 7 of install instructions for more info and discuss with your builder or designer. No trim kit is supplied. ^CO

Hi, it has an automatic cooling fan that can continue running after you finish cooking. This is normal operation and helps cool the oven’s internal components and surrounding cabinetry; the fan will switch off on its own once the oven has cooled to a safe temperature.

Thanks for your question Shons. The unit measures 596W x 573D x 890Hmm. While this model is the same width, and the height is lower than the existing unit, the depth exceeds the current space. This could result in it sticking out slightly by 3mm. Check with your installer to see if this is an issue. ^CO
