TimerI have already written a review, but I thought of another thing that I don't like about the oven and that is the ring on the timer. When you are using the convection oven it does not ring loud & long enough. You need it to continue until it is attended to. If you are not in the kitchen you can't hear it and if you forget about it, your cake can still be cooking in the warm oven even if it turns off.
We have also still getting used to having to tap the start button again after having the oven door open when using the convection oven. these are two things I would like to see improved, but we do use it a lot instead of the large oven.

Seems to work well but improvements need to be made to some aspectsExtremely easy to use, very intuitive. Seems to cook OK. Mainly used in microwave mode so far.
Major problem with door design as the door opens downwards not sideways like free standing micro waves. When fitted over an oven it is impossible to reach the back of the oven to wipe it out even with a foot stool!
Instruction manual is not all that user friendly with information scattered and vital information such as that metal grill rack and shelf can be used with any cooking mode including microwave being on page 12. Re-organization of information is required especially for new microwave/convection cooks, currently it is confusing

Extremely Versatile-stand alone or backup.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m still learning how to fully utilise my combo oven. I have fitted it under bench, so it easily accessed being adjacent to my 90cm Westinghouse oven -now THAT is an oven. However the combo has so many features, most notably its quick heat up time, and the function I use the most beside the microwave wave is the Grill/Microwave combo. Also it is a cinch to clean-a quick wipe over with a warm damp cloth(no chemicals) removes greasy steam residue and keeps it smelling fresh. And finally, because we are a large family, having the second oven allows me to roast different cuts and joints and meats in both ovens at the same time.!

A great look!So far the functions I have used work well. I wish it came with a manual about using it and some recipes to try. The downside -the door I should have thought more carefully about this design as a side-opening door rather than a pull-down door would have been better. I had my microwave placed above my new oven, so it makes it difficult to get things out as the door gets in the way. The removable shelf looks good and is helpful but it does scratch the oven when I take it out or put it back in the oven. If Westinghouse could replace the door with a side-opening door I would be very happy otherwise I can see me putting it on Marketplace eventually so I can replace it with a side-opening unit.

Enjoy using it, but has it's faultsWhen we renovated our kitchen we purchased this appliance as it was a built in microwave, matched our oven and also a small convection oven & griller for small meals. I have discovered that food cooks quicker in the oven compared with a normal size oven and consequently saving power. I love it! Very convenient to use, but it isn't easy to clean. As the door swings down like a normal oven it gets in the way when cleaning the interior. As far as I know it can't be removed, which would make it a lot easier. It is also difficult to wipe the ceiling of the oven between the elements. With my previous oven/griller the elements would come unclip and swung down so the ceiling could be cleaned. There is room for improvement on this appliance.

DisappointedThe microwave seems much slower than my old one, eg it took 2 minutes to melt wax in my old one and about 7 on this one for the same amount of wax. However, I can adjust and live with this as the really frustrating thing is the oven door does not come off making it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to clean the back of the oven, despite my longer than average arms! Cleaning behind the grill element is also difficult. I would have thought a removable door was something even basic models wound have. I did not recommend this product.

Not happyDo not waste your money on Westinghouse products. Within the warranty period the mechanism for the motor failed, requiring replacement. Now the latest issue is the plastic wheel/fee under the spinning mechanism has seized and melted, there seems to be a metal in there and it now arcs when microwave is in operation. Serious safety risk and possible fire hazard. This is not a cheap microwave and I would expect 10yrs of trouble free use. I would not recommend Westinghouse and would not use Westinghouse appliances again.
