Poor Design
I bought this product last month, and as an engineer I found there is a design flaw.
What I am finding is the burner plates if they are by any chance not aligned properly(While cleaning black pates might have moved) and if I try to ignite the burner, the GAS keep flowing other then burner area and because spark mechanism doesn't have any safety check of such plates misalignments, the spark try to inflate the flame around that GAS flowing path and it some times have small blast.. thankfully no major accident have happened but I would request AEG to fix this issue of the design. I can demonstrate as well.

Very disappointed...
Bought AEG because it was supposed to be good quality German product, and the design looked easy to clean. Compared to the Miele and Kleenmaid we had previously, it is bitterly disappointing. The temperature controls are highly inaccurate and difficult to adjust, but more importantly the stove surface material is very poor and very hard to clean. Seems like it constantly discolours. Also, whether it is "loose fat" or similar, it sticks whereas on the other brands it was easy to wipe off. Sorry, but if this was a cheap product maybe acceptable, but it isn't cheap to buy...

Great product with innovative safety feature
I bought this product one month ago and I’m quite happy with it overall especially impressed by its gas leak stopper safety feature. However 2 of the 4 switches are not working properly. When you turn the gas on (by pressing the switch down and turn anti clockwise) the switch doesn’t bounce back up ( as it normally does if it’s working properly) instead it stays pressed down and it keeps igniting so you have to manually lift the switch up to stop the igniting. Also one day i accidentally dropped the holder of the biggest cooktop( there are 4 cooktops in total) and it broke into 2 pieces. I was a bit surprised had thought it was all metal will never break, apart from the above mentioned I’m quite satisfied with the product

Well designed, easy to use.
I bought this cooktop due to the simple, clean, modern design for my new kitchen.
I still love it as much for its look, but also it is very easy to use. It functions well, and is very easy to clean the top and pieces in the dishwasher.
Only thing I would change would be for the burner pieces to be a single piece so that when cleaning things all don't come apart as not always simple to put back in place.

Sleek four burner gas stove
We purchased this particular gas stove as we wanted to have all the kitchen appliances to have the same feel as we purchase AEG oven and dishwasher.
Overall, I have been satisfied with the cooktop.
I like that it is recessed into the bench so there are no liquid spills onto the bench.
However, I find that the nobs get very hot as the metal conducts heat and they are rather large.

Within a week stove area around wok burner stained and discoloured. Tried cleaning products with not much improvement. Recessed area around igniter for wok burner is hard to clean with oils staining. Rubber bit next to igniter is hard and lifting. Instructions mention about pot width limits on each burner, which is not available until after purchasing the stove top. Burner parts seem to stain with oil. Rubber feet on trivet are loose. Disappointed that there’s no wok trivet. Otherwise features are fine.

Nice stove top
We installed our 60cm 4 burner cooktop last week. It looked great for the first few days but the steel is starting to get rust stains. Only a few but am a bit worried it will deteriorate with use. Time will tell. Love that it has room to cook anything though.
