The decision to choose this model was easy, thanks to Fisher & Paykel's reputation for modern design and high customer satisfaction.
A key feature that sold me on this cooktop was the placement of the controls on the side, a safer and more convenient option than having them on the front. Let the blackouts roll!
Power outages no issue with a gas stove top. We considered alternative fuel sources but kept coming back to being able to heat water and food on the gas cooktop if the power goes out. We are used to its Instant heating which is easily controlled. 9 kg gas bottles are manageable and we only seem to replace one once a year roughly. This cooktop is compact in space and the wok burner does a good high heat. Our lots and pans stay stable and secure on the frames over the burners. Very pleased with our purchase.

Nice looking cook top.
Looks great in our stone bench top. A little disappointed with the amount of time it takes to heat up the cook wear. Would be nice if it had a little more grunt.

I knew Haier has that anti-drying tech, which so good and able to turn off the gas automatically when burning dries the pot.
Pot is in the dry-fire state and the bottom temperature has exceeded the warning temperature, the anti-drying will start, Intelligent control module sends out instructions to the gas control valve, closes the air valve.
since F&P was acquisited Haier and are we going to see this of tech on gas cooktop? :)

One important disappointment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with the performance of this new cooktop, but am disappointed with the triffids legs as they have easily scratched the stainless steel base of the cooktop. I have taken particular care to ensure the triffids are placed carefully on to the stainless steel but minimum soft material on the bottom of the legs make this nearly impossible.

LPG Fisher & Paykel Gas Hob
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the fast and even cooking on the back 2 elements. The wok burner is a bonus from our old model. Like the safety cut out of the gas if accidentally left on which we didn't have before either. Find the stainless steel easy to keep clean.
