Can't be relied upon - avoid
Definitely NOT recommended. Tends to turn itself off/down at key moments when many pans need warming at the same time (Christmas morning). When I set a pan at 5 I just want it to stay at 5, not come back a few minutes later and it's been clever and turned itself to simmer. So I have to keep more of an eye on the hob than I should just to make sure the heat stays on - I'd strongly prefer gas simply because I can control it and see what's going on. When there's only one pan on the hob, it's fine, but that's not when you need it to work.

Amazing Cooktop and the Downdraft is Fantastic !!!
What a fantastic cooktop, the induction is just amazing to cook with, coming from a standard glass cooktop before. The downdraft works amazingly well, so much better than having overhead extraction. Controls are well placed, hated our previous cooktop where hot pots would turn the cooktop off by touching the controls (and then they were too hot to turn back on again 😛) these are great.
