Love love love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the cooktop about a month ago and absolutely love it. I upgraded from an electric cooktop and haven't looked back. I live in an apartment and based on a recommendation from friends I bought the PowerLite model. The PowerLite model was easy to install buy an electrician on existing power settings.
I didn't enjoy cooking on my electric stove but I've absolutely loved cooking with this unit. It's quick to heat and more importantly it holds the temperature perfectly.
Highly recommend.

The best induction cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been the best cooktop we've had. Previously we bought a Samsung Induction cooktop and it stopped working after a month. While still trying to get a refund for that, we shopped around for another and found the Westinghouse. It was cheaper than the Samsung one we previously bought and we got it on special too. No problems, cooks beautifully, love the large zone for out large pan and the timer is a plus.

Works as it should with vet good temperature control.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a dodgy induction that I put up with for far too long, so to get this one and have it work so easily and have proper control over the temperature has made me incredibly happy!
One small issue is that occasionally the touch sensor is unresponsive. Nothing massive, just slightly inconvenient at times.
Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Excellent Performance, Frustrating Touch Controls
I’ve had the WHI632BE induction cooktop for about a month now and overall I’ve been happy with it.
One of the things that appealed to me was that it’s a 15-amp unit. In my case, I already had an existing 20-amp circuit, so it was an easy drop-in replacement without needing any electrical upgrades. For many people replacing an older cooktop, that could be a significant advantage.
I’ve used it for everything from everyday cooking through to one fairly large cooking session and it has performed well. One thing I particularly like is the way the power levels are incremented. Each step feels meaningful and predictable, giving a sense of control that reminds me of cooking on gas, but with less guesswork. After a short time you simply learn what each number does and can consistently achieve the result you’re after.
It also delivers heat smoothly and doesn’t seem to suffer from the obvious pulsing that some induction cooktops exhibit at lower power settings.
My biggest criticism is the touch controls. Whenever water touches the control area the cooktop starts beeping, even when the cooktop itself is off and you’re simply trying to clean it. Given that induction cooktops have a flat glass surface that naturally needs wiping during and after cooking, this becomes surprisingly frustrating. In practice, even touching the controls with slightly wet fingers, which is a common occurrence in a kitchen, can trigger the beeping, so I often find myself needing to keep a rag nearby to dry the stovetop before adjusting the controls when the stovetop starts going mental.
What makes it worse is discovering after purchase that there appears to be no option to disable the feature. Had I known beforehand that the beeping couldn’t be turned off, it would have been a significant factor in my buying decision.
Overall, it’s a capable induction cooktop that performs well, offers excellent control and was a simple replacement on my existing 20-amp circuit. However, the constant beeping whenever moisture reaches the controls feels excessive and is something prospective buyers should be aware of before purchasing.

Excellent cooktop

We have always used Westinghouse and haven’t been let down so will continue to buy when needed

Love it
Great hob, love the easy function and power. We rarely use more than two elements so having such a big element for our one-pot dinners is paramount. This works for us. This was recommended on consumer but I think is phased out to a 4 element one. Glad we got this in time.
