Great looks and features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose this Westinghouse over other units in the store because we liked the look of it. We bought an induction cooktop as it was the last item to go all electric, and my wife was a bit sceptical to change from gas as to electric. Now since she has been cooking on this 90 cm Westinghouse 5 zone induction cooktop she is sorry that we did not get one earlier. She is ecstatic with the features of the cooktop and thinks this cooks better than the gas top.
We recommend this product to anyone thinking of changing from gas to electric cooking.Very happy with this purchase.

Fast, precise but easily damaged
We installed this cooktop a few months ago as part of an electrification and de-gassing program. It’s much faster and more precise than gas. It also provides more workable bench-space. However really disappointed how the burners have become badly scorched after using a Bialetti induction adapter plate for our former coffee espresso pots. We also bought a new set of ‘induction friendly’ coffee pots to alleviate the problem but the single shot pot was too small to register the hot plate and the metal mesh filter in the large one started to buckle on moderate heat. Can we have the damaged ceramic top cleaned or replaced ?

Upgraded to WHI955BD induction cooktop - Awesome!
My new house was planned for the Westinghouse WHI945bc induction cooktop, so we would use NO GAS in the house, and have almost instant heat for cooking in a very efficient method on the induction cooktop. Then I got notified I'm upgraded (at no extra cost) to the WHI955BC which has 5 "burners" (to use old language), even better than expected.
Cooking on induction is a breeze, and the Westinghouse is easy to use, so simple to clean and keep clear, boil protection so I am not worried if I forget something. I am very happy and looking forward to many year of cooking on the new cooktop! Awesome!

Amazing cooktimes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best cooktop I have ever used and I have built and renovated 8 kitchens mostly using Westinghouse products and there has never been any issues with them. This is my first Induction cooktop and I am super happy with the cook times and today I made my first omelette that didn't stick to the pan. I cannot turn my back on the frypan because they heat up so quick which is not what I am used to with gas as it takes a while to heat up. I have tested the boil on water in a pit and it is astonishingly 30 seconds for a 16 inch pot. Amazing cooktimes!!!

Can your hob have too much tech? Yes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can a cooktop have to much tech? Yes. When it works this thing needs an amazing, hears up quick, small audible hum lets you know it’s working, the heat drops off as soon as you lift the pan, incredibly efficient. But, it beeps endlessly, if there is any splatter, the hob does its own thing, if you wipe the surface while cooking, the hob will turn off and the power button won’t respond. After cooking, when cleaning the hob, it beeps and does strange things. The bridge and large central hob are excellent, the boil protect and interaction with the range hood are okay, but if you turn the hob off, the range hood will turn off leaving you in the dark with no exhaust. Bit disappointed.

Will never go back to gas!
The Westinghouse induction cooktop has been a fantastic replacement for our gas hob. It's a streamlined unit which is easy to use and is easier to control and maintain temperatures than the old gas unit. We thought it would be difficult to master but not at all. We also have a Westinghouse electric oven and it's great too. Only one thing had me stumped at first was the size of the smaller sized pots and pans. The minimum size pot you can use is 125mm, any smaller and the hob won't start so be sure to check this before pulling your hair out!

Efficient cooking, easy cleaning and better than gas for an amateur chef
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a whopping big induction cooktop! I spend most of my time using the middle hot plate because it’s so efficient at heating up my family-sized stainless steel pan. It takes literally a minute to hit temperature and cooks evenly. The ability to lock the cooktop when I’m cooking multiple things is also great so that I don’t accidentally change the temperature on one of the hot plates. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to cook as well as on gas stove tops, but the ability to regulate temperature and still get a crispy crust on a steak, or a great sear on chicken breast, is equal, if not better because it’s so easy to use, easy to clean and nice to look at. I could never go back to gas after this!
