Washes well using the 1 hour cycle but be aware
Bought to replace a SMEG built in. Fits in the dishwasher space under the bench but be aware that there is no way to fix the washer into the space by attaching to the cabinetry on either side. It is truly freestanding. As the door has no unlock mechanism, you firmly pull it to open it, the washer keeps getting pulled out of the space. Had to raise the leveling wheels at the front to wedge it in. Also the front wheel was screwed in so hard there was no way of unscrewing it by hand, Had to buy a size 10 hex tool to use in the hex slot in the middle of the wheel. I suppose if you are use to using 2 hands to open your dishwasher its not an issue. If not, it will irritate you. Also the bottom basket has a habit of rolling too far out onto the door when open and falls off its track. It needs a stop of some sort. Perhaps it has it but I've yet to find it.

I love these Bosch dishwashers :-)
Some years ago I was getting sick of the noise that our dishwasher was making - good brand, working well, but in a more open plan living space the sound of the appliance running was a pain when talking with friends or watching the TV. So I did the research and we got a Bosch. Loved it, and my family always laugh at how much I would comment on how nice and quiet it was. We recently moved to another place, and bought this as a matter of priority to get the same benefits. Goes great, and was easy to install even for a novice. More than happy!

New Bosch dishwasher is a hit
We bought this dishwasher recently to replace an old one whose rinse cycle had developed a fault, on the basis that it's a reasonable price and has overall good reviews. Being wirelessly enabled for home automation was also a plus. Installing it ourselves, the instructions to adjust the feet etc could have been clearer, but it was easy enough in the end after managing to decipher them. Filling with rinse aid would be easier if there was a window to see when it was at max. Other than that so far it has been doing a good job, even using the short 1 hour cycle. Dishes, cups, cutlery come out clean and dry, apart from those that have a dip in the top where water can pool. Glasses are sparkling. The machine is certainly very quiet. The wireless application is excellent, works with Alexa and is easily incorporated into a home automation system. Can send a message when a wash is complete and even sent a message when the rinse aid was low. I think we made the right decision in not opting to spend a lot more on a machine with drawers or additional features that we'd probably never use. Time will tell whether this machine is reliable and also how readily available are spares, but for now I have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars.

Great upgrade from our old dishwasher
Very quiet, good performance and internal layout. Plastic containers come out drier than in our old dishwasher. Plenty of room in top and bottom trays. Took a while to figure out how to get Alexa to start it but got there in the end (say "Alexa, open Home Connect Dishwasher Skill.")

Happy so far
Have had our first Bosch appliance for a few weeks now, to replace out trusty old F&P - it looks good, seems to run well and is very quiet. Have only used the 1-hour cycle so far and happy with that, dishes are clean and dry (don't really need all the bells and whistles). Downside - the door is a bit stiff, not sure if that loosens over time but I do wonder if we'll have problems with the little clip at the top of the door later down the track. Also, someone else mentioned the smell of oil, and I do notice a smell similar to that or it could be when the rubber gets hot. Hopefully that will dissipate over time with use. Early days still so hope it proves to be a worthwhile purchase.

Bosch Series 4 - cleans well, bottom rack flawed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this Bosch series 4 dishwasher to replace an old one that died. As with our experience of Bosch dishwashers previously, this one cleans really well, and with rinse aid employed, it leaves the top rack plastic items nice and dry and clean (much better than the dishwasher it replaced!). However, unlike previous Bosch dishwashers we've had, the SMS4HTI01A has a flawed design for the bottom rack (basket). The gap between the rails on the bottom of the actual dishwasher and the door mean that the bottom rack tips forward when pulling the rack out.

Super quiet, super easy
Such a quiet machine. The 1hr wash does a really good job. Nice spacing on the racks allows the machine to fit a lot of dishes. The wifi connection (remote start) is handy.

Small Design Flaw
Great Product and Cleaning Power except for one issue; if you put a plate in the far right slot of the bottom tray, the plate will scrape along the inside wall as there is not enough clearance. Small design flaw, overall it is very good.
